Yes bodyBEgood👏🏼
With so much focus on bub, Mum’s health & recovery often slips way down near the bottom of the list.
Mum’s don’t become broken from pregnancy & giving birth, they require appropriate attention & care (physically AND mentally).

It doesn’t matter if you’ve had 1 baby. Or if you’ve had 4.
It doesn’t matter if you had a vaginal birth, or a caesarian.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a super-fit-triathlon-junkie, or a couch potato.
And it doesn’t matter if you’re currently having problems, or not.
Every. New. Mum. Should. See. A. Pelvic. Floor. Physio.
Every Mum. After every birth.
Yes - you have your 6 week check with your GP or obstetrician or other health care worker. And yes, you’ll likely get the all clear to get back into exercise.
But - will they properly assess your tummy separation?
Will they teach you how to improve it, or ways to stop it getting worse?
Will they actually check that those pelvic floor exercises you ‘think’ you’re doing, are actually being done properly?
Will they talk to you about all the nitty gritty of postnatal life? Like having s*x and going to the loo and sitting up all night feeding?
Will they teach you exercises you can do to slowly rebuild yourself after pregnancy and birth?
I’m going to guess - probably not.
There’s more here on our blog, so check it out. Tag a friend who is a new Mum to share this info, or give us a call to book your Postnatal assessment - you won’t regret it.
