Eureka Health Team Update - 2026 Osteopathy Summit

Anthony and Andrew spent the weekend at the inaugural Osteopathy Summit alongside 200+ osteopaths from across Australia.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with colleagues, reflect on the history of osteopathy in Australia, and hear insights from practitioners with over 45 years of experience in the profession.

A key focus of the weekend was the lymphatic system and how supporting fluid movement throughout the body can assist healing and recovery from injury.

We love seeing our team continuing to learn, connect, and bring new knowledge back to support our patients at Eureka Health.

We enjoyed spending time with the Little Athletics junior athletes. We really also love seeing kids having fun while being strong and active. 💪

Meet Jacqui, our fantastic physiotherapist ⭐️

Jacqui uses Clinical Pilates and exercise to help her patients move better, get stronger and achieve their goals. She runs clinical exercise and pre and postnatal Pilates classes, and has a special interest in supporting women through pregnancy and postpartum, as well as treating pelvic health conditions including prolapse, incontinence, bladder and bowel dysfunction and pelvic pain.

Jacqui has really enjoyed getting back into the clinic this year and caring for her patients, especially supporting women during pregnancy and helping with recovery after birth. She is also excited to be completing further studies in pelvic floor management this March through the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

When Jacqui is not in the clinic, she is kept very busy at home with her three young daughters, and enjoyed a summer full of family time away in the caravan and at the beach.

Jacqui is currently consulting in clinic on Thursdays.

Meet Della, our lovely osteo.⭐️⁠

Della is a caring and compassionate osteopath with a 20 year history of working both clinically and academically in musculoskeletal health. She has a keen interest in rehabilitation and recovery from chronic pain and injury, an area she has lectured extensively in, here and abroad.

Della firmly believes in empowering patients, and ensures the time is taken to understand their pain and give them the skills they need to reduce it in the short and long term.

When Della's not treating, teaching or learning, she loves spending time in the outdoors camping and bushwalking.⁠ She is also currently building her own house (still...)

The Eureka Health team was delighted to once again be part of the 2026 Ballarat Gift. Swipe through to see some memorable moments from a fantastic weekend.

It was an exciting two days of racing, and we were proud to contribute to such a welcoming and supportive event. With athletes travelling from all over the country, it was especially rewarding to see so many local competitors perform so well.

Eureka Health proudly sponsored the 70m Over 35 event, won by Daniel Martin. We also sponsored the 800m Over 45 event, won by Marcus Downes - another Ballarat local! We were also incredibly proud of our very own Holly, who made the 120m Ballarat Gift Women’s Final. Grace did extremely well to get through her 70m, 120m and 400m races without injury. The Ballarat athletes overall had a very successful weekend.

Holly and Grace are both on the event organising committee and the two of them, plus their families, had a huge weekend ensuring that everything ran smoothly.

To round out the weekend, the EH massage tent was a huge hit on Sunday. A big thank you to Ant, Meg, Ella and Jody for giving up their time to provide treatments and support to so many athletes.

If you’re a sports enthusiast and haven’t experienced The Gift yet, come out and support this fantastic local event. Our very own Holly Dobbyn & Grace O’Dwyer will be competing throughout the weekend, so keep your eyes peeled for them.

Eureka Health will once again host a massage tent for the athletes on Sunday, so stop by to greet the team. Kids can participate in junior races, including the exciting 'Junior Dash for Sash,' making it a perfect day for the entire family.⁠

The 2026 Ballarat Gift finals will be streamed LIVE on on Sunday 8 February, with coverage starting from 1pm. We look forward to supporting our local athletes and community together - see you there!

⭐️ Introducing to the team ⭐️

We’re excited to officially welcome Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates Instructor Ella to the team at Eureka Health! Ella is a familiar face around the clinic, having worked as part of our reception team for the past two years, and we’re thrilled to now see her step into her new physio role with us.

Ella comes to us having gained experience across a wide range of clinical areas throughout her studies, developing strong skills in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic rehabilitation. Having experienced her own sporting injuries as a teenager, she understands firsthand the importance of the right support during recovery, which ultimately inspired her path into physiotherapy.

Ella values a patient-centred approach and enjoys working with people of all ages. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve meaningful goals.

Outside of work, when not in the clinic, Ella enjoys long distance running (often training for a marathon or two 🏃‍♀️), playing tennis, catching up with friends and family, and watching the footy.

Meet our lovely physio, clinical exercise & Pilates instructor Grace⭐️⁠

Grace enjoys seeing a wide variety of clients from all walks of life and is passionate about building strong and meaningful relationships with her patients to facilitate their recovery.

Grace is an avid runner and has competed in sprinting and athletics from a young age (she is a Stawell Gift winner!). Through her experience of training and competing she had had her own experience with injuries. This led to her passion for working closely with people to facilitate their recovery to assist them in returning to the things they love doing, particularly on the sporting field.🏃‍♀️
