An emotional moment to share from Parent Workshop:
*Child* - “Everyone in my family curses, hates my mother because of my disability. Today you made her smile”
*Me* (surprised) - “How?”
*Child* - “You gave her hope that I can become like you”
*Mother* - “Everyone in my family tells my daughter that she is not capable and burden to the family which makes me very sad. Today, your story and journey gave her inspiration. Please guide her..”
I was speechless for few moments and experiencing her emotions.
*Me* - “I thank you for giving your life and looking after your daughter. I will support you the best I can and together, we will make her capable to be here someday in future where I am and I will be in the audience”
*Mother* - “Yes, I believe you from what I saw today”
*Child* - “I promise that I will work hard and try for this to happen”
