Awaken to the mystery of being here
and enter the quiet immensity of your own presence.
Have joy and peace in the temple of your senses.
Receive encouragement when new frontiers beckon.
Respond to the call of your gift and the courage to follow its path...
May your outer dignity mirror an inner dignity of soul.
May you take time to celebrate the quiet miracles that seek no attention...
May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven around the heart of wonder.

AT THE HEART OF DHARMA CIRCLE IS AN ENTHUSIASM TO EXPLORE, EXPERIENCE AND SHARE THE PRECIOUS WISDOM OF BOTH BUDDHIST AND YOGIC TEACHINGS.
Dharma Circle Collective was created with the intention of developing a sense of place and community - dedicated to the path of awakening through deep inquiry into the nature of mind and the lived experience.
Located in the heart of the West Footscray Village, the space is available to teachers and students who share this commitment to creating and supporting an environment for growth and transformation.
Dharma Circle Collective is NOT your average yoga studio. All of the teachers that teach from Dharma Circle Collective are independent. They are not employees and teach their own classes on their own terms, while wrapped in the warm embrace of the Dharma Circle studio and tied together by a shared commitment to deepening practice. This model is designed to give teachers support without insisting upon uniformity, or stepping between the teacher and the student. In many spiritual traditions (both yogic and buddhist) finding your teacher - and developing a deep and meaningful relationship with them - is an important part of the journey. Modern studio approaches can often obscure this, and make it a little harder to do.
So, if you have ever been curious about the deeper dimensions of yoga but haven't known how to move beyond the physical practice, or even if you've not felt comfortable (or flexible enough) to even venture into a class in the first instance...then this is your place!
There are plenty of opportunities for silent and supported meditation practice, including introductory courses, deepening into practice sessions, retreats and Dharma teachings.
Throughout the year the studio doors will be open to a number of new and fabulous teachers form a variety of traditions and approaches (yoga, dance, music, guest speakers etc.) - head to the ‘Special Events’ page to see what’s on.
As life flows on, no doubt the shapes of Dharma Circle will continue to transform and change but that which shines from within is the changeless, ever-present heart of Dharma.
With much love and gratitude,
Samantha Coker-Godson
