Don't ask us how (foot lab magic?), but we’re here for it. Smurf or not, your feet are in very capable—and (slightly blue)—hands. 💙🦶

A big well done to our fantastic podiatrist Ellie, who recently presented to the Toukley GPs on the vital role podiatry plays in preventing falls.

She shared valuable insights on how foot health, proper footwear, and balance assessments can significantly reduce fall risk—especially in older adults. It’s all part of a team effort to keep our community safe, active, and independent 💪

Our podiatrist, Ellie, recently gave a presentation to the team at Family Doctors @ Tuggerah Clinic, on how podiatrists support fall prevention in older adults.

From assessing balance and gait to addressing foot pain and footwear, podiatry plays an important role in helping reduce fall risk and keeping patients safely on their feet.
