Our low service rates get a lot of attention, and care recipients and their families frequently ask us how we provide such value. Here are two reasons:

1. Before Support at Home, many providers were charging exorbitant "package management fees" upwards of 35% — but we weren’t. Our fees were always fair, and now that Support at Home is here, we don’t have to inflate our service rates to make up for the new program's capped management fees. While other providers scramble to cover their losses with higher service rates, The CareSide is keeping our rates right where they’ve always been: low and affordable.

2. We also developed proprietary software to streamline our administrative processes wherever possible. We've never had to charge exorbitant fees to cover our operating costs, and we pass those savings back to you in the form of fairly priced, high-quality services.

We hear this question a lot from home care recipients and their families, and it's so important—especially right now, when Australians just need providers they can trust. As a family-owned company, The CareSide was founded in WA (Perth) in 2017. We've since grown into a national provider, and today we have offices, staff, and clients across the entire country.

With us, care recipients get the best of both worlds: the individual attention they'd expect from a local, family-run provider, along with the stability and resources of a nationwide organisation.

Unlike many other home care providers, we aren’t owned by a private equity firm, and we don’t rely on government tender contracts. Our mission is to build a sustainable, family-run business that supports our employees, our clients and their families over the long term.

Designed to make things easier for seniors and their families, the refreshed layout features:

• A revamped 'Find a Provider' tool with improved search and compare options
• A new 'Wayfinder' on the homepage that enables you to answer a few questions to find information relevant to your situation
• Personalisation functionality ('My Guide') with a dashboard and checklist so you can pick up where you left off and view information relevant to you
