Cues can shape the entire experience of a yoga practice.
They can turn attention outwards — toward alignment, shape, and whether a posture is being done “right” or “wrong” (as if there were one universal expression).
Or cues can invite attention inwards — toward sensation, breath, and felt experience — giving students ownership to move in ways that feel right for their body, on that day.
This is an embodied way of practising. One where we create the conditions for students to meet their own needs, rather than perform a prescribed version of yoga.
✨ Embodiment changes everything.
