Our getaways are a period of time where a group travels to a specific location to engage in leisure & relaxation away from their usual environment. Our team provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals with similar interests have an enjoyable experience. We provide getaways to various locations across Australia.

1:1 and Group Activities in the Community
Community Access

We provide community-based support for people with disabilities, where every individual is encouraged to pursue their goals by accessing skills-based learning, recreation and social activities. Working together with you and your family or support network, we will create a personalised plan around your goals and aspirations, and identify the programs and supports that will assist you to achieve them. Support will complement your existing informal support, such as your family, friends and other community members. Independent Support
Independent Needs

There’s always something that needs to be done so it’s comforting to know you can get supported with these functions and maintain your independence. You may need help with transport to go out and perform errands like visiting the bank, going to the doctor or picking up your new glasses. Your Independent Support Worker is always willing to support and encourage you with your independent living. Personal Care
Personal Support
An important element of your ability to live independently at home is your personal care. You’ll feel much better with a Independent Support Worker to help you take care of your hygiene and grooming needs. You can count on kind and respectful attention that is always sensitive around your comfort, dignity and privacy.

🌟 ABC Disability Group – Ballarat Adventure Camp 2026! 🌟

We are so excited to announce our 3-day Ballarat Camp from April 17th – 19th, 2026! 🎉

Many disability camps cost $3000+, but at ABC Disability Group we work hard to make our camps affordable and inclusive, with our ALL-INCLUSIVE camp under $2000 while still packing it full of amazing experiences! 🙌

✨ What’s included in our camp?

🏕️ What we’ll be doing:
🍕 Dinner out in Ballarat to kick off the trip together
🎬 Movie & Mocktail Night to relax and unwind
🏰 Full day at Sovereign Hill exploring the gold rush, panning for gold, watching live demonstrations, visiting traditional shops, and enjoying the famous old-fashioned lolly shops
🍽️ Dinner at the Golden Point Hotel with hearty pub-style meals
🎉 PJ Party & Trivia Night full of laughs and friendly competition
🦘 Ballarat Wildlife Park visit where we’ll see kangaroos, wombats, emus, and other amazing Australian animals

🌟✨ Concord School Visit to ABC Disability Group! ✨🌟

Today we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Concord School for a tour of ABC Disability Group and what a fantastic visit it was! 🙌💙

It was so special showing the students and staff around our Life Skills Centre and sharing everything we offer from our engaging daily programs, community access adventures, volunteer opportunities, youth groups, camps and life skills development. We loved giving everyone a real insight into what life after school can look like and how exciting, empowering and fun that next chapter can be!

A very big and heartfelt THANK YOU to one of our newest participants who only finished school last year 👏💫 You did an amazing job helping show everyone around, sharing your experience and talking about your transition from school into our programs. You were confident, welcoming and such a great role model. We are so proud of how far you’ve come in such a short time it truly shows how much growth can happen when young people feel supported and included. 🌈

The students asked great questions, explored the space, and could see firsthand how we build independence, friendships, confidence and community connection every single day. It’s always so exciting watching young people start imagining their future and realising there are so many opportunities waiting for them.

And to top off a wonderful day it was so great to see you all again at the Expo later that day! 🙌✨ Thank you so much for coming over to say hi and for taking the time to connect with us again. We love being part of these community events and strengthening our partnerships with local schools.

Thank you Concord for spending the morning with us we can’t wait to continue building this connection and supporting more amazing young people as they transition into their next stage of life. 💙
