When you've got a million things to do, thinking about all of them at once is a great way to do nothing.

It’s called task paralysis.

And the way around it is to focus on what's directly in front of you. One task. Get it done.

And when you finish something - even something small - actually acknowledge it. "Done. That's one less thing."

It sounds simple, and you might think, a bit silly, but when was the last time you congratulated yourself on doing something? Most of us skip straight to the next item without pausing.

If you have a cat, or you've ever been in a cat’s presence for more than 10 minutes, you've surely noticed how they stretch every single time they get up? Even dogs do it!

Full body, multiple times a day, causing anyone watching to say ' Biiiiig stretch' :D

Meanwhile, most of us go weeks without a proper stretch, sitting for hours, standing up stiff, and wonder why our bodies feel terrible.

Your cat's onto something. Frequent, short stretches keep everything loose and moving well and you don't even need a yoga mat or a routine - just stretch when you think of it - getting up from your desk, before bed, while the kettle boils.

Relaxation massage is lovely - soft music, dim lights, you drift off for an hour.

But if you're in pain or dealing with an actual issue, that's not what you need.

Remedial massage is different. Iain's known for his ability to assess what's going on, identify the tensions and knots causing problems, and work through them intentionally. You might feel pretty relaxed after, but the real goal is results that last.

So if you've been putting off booking because you think massage is just a nice treat, think again. It's a tool. And when it's done right, it actually fixes things.

How much did you have to brace or push off something?

If getting up from a chair is starting to feel like effort, your hips are telling you something. They're tight, weak, or both - and the longer you ignore it, the worse it gets.

Here's a simple test: sit on the edge of a chair and stand up without using your hands. Can you do it smoothly? Or is it a production?

If it's the latter, that's your body waving a flag. The good news? This is fixable. Deb works with people on exactly this - rebuilding strength and mobility in the places that actually matter for daily life.

Hey everyone!

We totally get that life happens. Kids get sick, cars break down, work runs late, you just completely forget (we've all been there).
But here's the reality: when you cancel at the last minute, that's time we can't fill.

So give us a heads up as early as you can and we'll do our best to fill your spot. If we can, there's no charge at all. The earlier you let us know, the better chance we have of finding someone else.

But if it's under 24 hours, we have to charge 50% of the appointment fee. Not because we're being difficult, but because we can't pay our bills with empty appointment slots.

If you want to work a different way, that's totally cool - but this is what we've decided we need to do to keep the doors open and keep showing up for you.

Thanks for understanding. And if you've got an appointment coming up that you need to move, let us know now rather than later!

You don't need a gym membership or equipment to get moving. You don't even need to leave the house.

Stretch while the aircon's on. Do a few squats during the ad break. Roll your ankles while you're sitting on the couch. Move your shoulders back while you wait for the kettle to boil.

Starting at home, in private, where it feels safe, can be a great space for people to begin.

It’s the end of summer, back to routine, the excitement of January's worn off.

It's normal to feel a bit... meh.

Here's what we’ve found helps: stop trying to feel motivated. Just do the thing anyway.

Book the appointment. Drink the water. Do the stretch.

Motivation follows action more often than it creates it.

You don't have to feel good to start. You just have to start.
