When you've got a million things to do, thinking about all of them at once is a great way to do nothing.
It’s called task paralysis.
And the way around it is to focus on what's directly in front of you. One task. Get it done.
And when you finish something - even something small - actually acknowledge it. "Done. That's one less thing."
It sounds simple, and you might think, a bit silly, but when was the last time you congratulated yourself on doing something? Most of us skip straight to the next item without pausing.
