Tomorrow is International Women’s Day.

It’s a time to recognise and celebrate the women who shape our families and community – Elders, mothers, aunties, sisters, daughters, nieces and friends.

We honour the strength, resilience and wisdom of Aboriginal women and the care, leadership and knowledge they carry every day.

Take a moment to acknowledge the women who inspire you. Comment below and tag someone you are celebrating so we can lift them up together – today and every day.

📢 Service Update

From 1 April 2026, our Admin and Integrated Care teams will be moving to Building B2 at the old Stuart High School site on Bastyan Crescent.

This means Patient Journey (PATS), Elder Care, NDIS and other programs will once again be located together with the Clinic, making it easier for our community to access support in one place.

We look forward to welcoming you at Bastyan Crescent from 1 April 2026.

There’s nothing simple about delivering a new network across multiple buildings.

And there’s definitely nothing simple about doing it in a regional setting like Whyalla.

Over the past week, our team has been on the ground designing and deploying a complex, multi-site network solution for a client who needed more than just connectivity. They needed reliability. Security. Scalability. And a system that would evolve with them as they grow.

Projects like this aren’t just about cables and configuration.

They’re about listening first.
Understanding how the business actually operates.
Mapping technology to real-world movement between buildings, teams and departments.
And building something that simply works — without the noise.

One connected client.
One streamlined network.
One less thing for them to worry about.

This is what we mean when we say we’re not just in the IT business — we’re in the business of evolution.

Proud of our team.
Grateful for the trust.
Excited to see this client thrive with the right foundations in place.

Our Elders are at the heart of our community.

At Nunyara, Elders are respected, valued and supported to make choices that feel right for them and their families.

If you or your family would like a yarn about care, support or planning for the future, the Elder Care Support team is there to listen, guide and walk alongside you.

Whether the questions are about health, wellbeing, services or simply having someone to talk things through with, support is offered in a friendly, culturally safe space where your experiences and wishes are respected.

Reaching out can help make things clearer and easier to navigate, for Elders and for the people who care about them.
You do not have to go through it alone.

If you would like to know more, Mia, Tyrell and Peta from the Elder Care Support team are available for a yarn.

Immunisation is one of the ways people can look after their health.

For many families, vaccines are a simple and effective option to help reduce the risk of serious illness for children, adults and Elders. They can support people to stay well and keep doing the things that matter to them.

Aboriginal people in South Australia can access some extra free vaccines, including:
• Pneumococcal vaccines – to protect against serious lung infections
• Shingles vaccine – for those aged 50 and over
• RSV vaccine – now free for pregnant women from 28–36 weeks, protecting both mum and bub from Respiratory Syncytial Virus

Keeping vaccinations up to date is a personal health choice. For many people, it is one option that can support their own wellbeing and the wellbeing of those around them.

If you would like to check which vaccines you or your family might be due for, have a yarn with the team at Nunyara.

Health is for everyone.

From little ones to Elders, taking time to look after your health supports people to stay well at every stage of life. Whether it is a regular check-up, immunisations or simply having a yarn with a health worker, small check-ins can make a big difference over time.

At Nunyara, we are here to support the whole family. You can drop by, ask questions or have a yarn with our team in a safe and welcoming space.

Our services are designed to be accessible for everyone, supporting children, adults and Elders to get the care that feels right for them.

You are always welcome to visit or have a yarn with us to find the support that suits you and your family.

Checking in on your health is a positive step at any age.

The 715 is a free, comprehensive health check for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, delivered in a culturally safe and supportive environment.

A 715 Health Check is your chance to have a yarn with a GP and Aboriginal Health Worker, talk through any worries or questions and look at your overall wellbeing – not just how you’re feeling today, but how to stay strong for the future. It can help pick things up early and connect you with the right support if you need it.

Contact Nunyara on 08 8649 9900 to book your 715 Health Check today.
