Please join us in welcoming Dr Virginia to Bunyarra Medical Clinic!

Dr Virgina has worked at Port Augusta and Whyalla Hospital over the past few years and absolutely loved it. She is excited to be part of Bunyarra Medical Clinic and continue to build her connections with the Whyalla community.

In her free time, she enjoys the great outdoors. She loves walking her dog Milo, heading to the beach, swimming, hiking, cycling, horse riding or even playing volleyball.
She loves to stay active and enjoys being outside to soak up some fresh air.

She is a big believer in preventative care and healthy living, and she enjoys working alongside patients to help them feel their best and stay well in everyday life.

She is looking forward to getting to know you all!

We are excited to welcome Dr Tapiwa back to Bunyarra Medical Clinic!

Dr Tapiwa Mativenga, who was raised in Whyalla, graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2022 before returning to work in regional hospitals over the past three years. She previously spent time at Bunyarra Medical Clinic in 2023 as an intern and is delighted to be back for a six-month rotation as part of her journey towards becoming a rural generalist.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, singing, dancing, cooking, and taking part in the local parkrun.
