When families feel empowered with the right knowledge, everything changes.
That's why last Thursday was so special. Our PBS Team Leader Renee Morihovitis was invited by What Ability to be a guest speaker at their Parent Afternoon Tea in Kew, sharing practical strategies that make a real difference.
Renee presented on two key topics:
👉Support Coordination (Level 2) and Specialist Support Coordination (Level 3) – the difference between Level 2 vs 3, what makes a great Support Coordinator, plus shared useful resources for understanding funding and building strong cases.
👉Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) – what it is, why it helps, and how it focuses on making life better by understanding behaviours, building skills, and protecting rights. Also covered challenging behaviours, needs like safety and belonging, escalation cycle, NDIS Restrictive Practices, PBS plans and funding, and why teamwork and consistency are important for success.
We were invited by What Ability because we share a passion for empowering families and creating real connections. It was all about answering questions, sharing stories, and giving families practical tools to navigate their NDIS journey.
This is what we do best at My Right 2 Voice. Whether it's one-on-one consultations or tailored workshops for your team or community, we're here to share knowledge that makes a difference. 💙
