When practise becomes simply bearing the truth - Danna Faulds.
This week, folks arrived for practise with tender bodies and tender hearts as a reminder that we know nothing of the worlds people move through or what they may be traversing with each breaking day.
I was also reminded of how beautiful it is to be able to come together, to be, just as it is, with all its glory and pain. 🌏
Tired, tender, wobbly or broken.
Perhaps in our practise bearing the truth is all there is to be done.
No fixing, just breathe.

What an honour to be mentioned ! 🤯😍
This podcast is always highly recommended in our prenatal post class cuppa and chats.
Sharing stories is powerful.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience . It's a beautiful story filled with wisdom, challenge, grief, and immense joy.
I love that vocalising and pain deferral with the seeds pods were big takeaways from yoga.
If you want to listen to Chloe's story it's ep 513
Mindful movement, sound, rest, accessible meditation, and a small sheok seed pod (think shakti mat for you hands! 🤣), can all help during labour to keep you grounded and stay with the unfolding of birth.
Join Sol prenatal yoga classes to learn tools and practises of support.
I would be stoked to have you.

I have been practicing yoga since my late teens and in 2014 I travelled to Bali to immerse myself in this profound practice completing my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with Santosha Yoga Institute.
It was a transformative time. I completed my training and felt like I finally found what I was supposed to be doing and I wanted to do it everyday!
When I returned home I was satisfied to continue with my own practice but after some time I could see people around me suffering in some form or another and thought perhaps yoga could aid in their journey to wellness, restoring balance and bringing them “home” just as it had for me. So a bit wobbly and certainly with my training wheels on I started running free classes for my workmates. It was in these classes that I fell in love with teaching, especially my workmates who had never practiced before. It was so lovely to see people who where initially apprehensive or even skeptical really open up and begin to find themselves through these classes, connecting to themselves in a ways perhaps not experienced before.
My understanding of yoga and it’s gifts continues to grow everyday.
‘Always the student, never the master ‘- Conrad Hall
Transcending much deeper than the physical postures or asana, Yoga can be practiced in many ways with focus on different aspects of mind and body to offer up exactly what you need in that moment, meeting you right where you are to bring about union with mind, body and spirit. I believe yoga is for everyone and should be accessible to all, the benefits are endless and far reaching.
I hope I can be of service to you one day and share some yoga with you.
