Serenity Spinal Flow I work with your body’s natural intelligence through the Spinal Flow® Technique

🧠✨ Why Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Matters — And Why Spinal Flow® Is So Relevant ✨🧠
Dr. Mauro Zappaterra MD, PhD — a respected Harvard-trained physician and CSF researcher — explains that cerebrospinal fluid is far more than a protective cushion for the brain and spinal cord.
💧 CSF is biologically active
CSF delivers nutrients, signaling molecules, hormones, and growth factors directly to the brain and spinal cord. It plays a critical role in neural development, repair, and regulation — influencing how the nervous system adapts and heals.
🌊 CSF flow is dynamic, not passive
Research shows CSF movement responds to breathing, posture, cardiovascular rhythms, and nervous system state. When the nervous system is under stress, CSF flow can become less efficient — impacting regulation, recovery, and overall function.
🧠⚡ CSF, regulation & consciousness
Dr. Zappaterra’s work highlights CSF as a communication medium within the central nervous system — potentially bridging physiology, neural signaling, and conscious experience. CSF supports the brain’s ability to clear waste, maintain balance, and stay adaptable.
✨ Why this matters for Spinal Flow®
Spinal Flow® works with the body’s innate intelligence and spinal architecture to support: • Improved nervous system regulation
• Enhanced CSF movement along the spinal canal
• Greater adaptability, resilience, and healing capacity
When the spine and nervous system are supported, the fluid system that sustains them can function more optimally 💫

Integration is an important part of healing and with Spina Flow. The body is releasing stress and holding patterns and the brain is rewiring, reconnecting to safety and realigning back to its natural state. This is when we need to let go of the limited beliefs system drilled into us of hard work and know how important it is to rest. Stop feeling like you need to fill every moment of every day doing something. It's ok to rest. It is necessary to rest.

When becoming a Spinal Flow Practitioner I also wanted to be honest and share from my experiences in my life to help others.

Today, I have had some minor surgery. This is something that has appeared in my life regularly, and each time, it brings forward a plenitude of emotions to feel, sit with, and process. I have become aware I still have unprocessed emotions around a number of years ago with a surgery I received.

It also reminds me that these emotional stresses have layers, and I am still doing the work around this area in my life. I also understand that emotionally, this is deeper than just the surgery or the underlying condition.. it really is all about not feeling safe.. safe to be myself and safe to be seen for whome I am.. a conditioned pattern I have carried since very young.

We are quick to believe that we should be able to "fix" or "control" things in our lives. Life sometimes gently or not so gently reminds us that this is not always the case.

For me... at the moment, I am working on profound acceptance of life experiences and challenges. And immense gratitude for my husband, my gorgeous children, my friends, and my beautiful clients 💜💫

Understanding I may not like or want what had been presented but trying to control or look at "what could I have done different" isn't always the answer.

Acceptance also doesn't mean resignation. It means lack of resistance and control, which allows my body to feel ease, which will support my nervous system and add to the healing I am doing through spinal flow sitting in quite, nature and some journalling.

Remember... healing requires the body to be in ease..and that is my focus for the next few days 💜

Lots of love to you all 😘😘
