My Midwives Brisbane North is a private midwifery group practice commenced in Jan 2014. The experienced medicare eligible midwives provide antenatal, labour and birthing and postnatal services up to 6 weeks to women in Brisbane and surrounding areas. The midwives have Medicare provider numbers and medicare rebates are available. Terms and conditions apply to both. Our midwives are credentialed and have admitting rights to RBWH, Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospitals so they can provide all your labour and birth care if you choose to birth at these hospitals. As the My Midwives philosophy says, we at My Midwives Brisbane North believe that birth is a positive and normal life event and that ALL women regardless of whether they also require medical care, should have a primary midwife support them through the entire childbirth journey. Our holistic and supportive Midwifery care involves pregnancy tests, antenatal check ups,blood testing and ultrasounds, education, birth care, breastfeeding and parenting support. We visit you in your home or you can come to our clinic for all your antenatal and postnatal care.. We encourage a bulk billed initial visit and antenatal check so we can provide information to you on pregnancy care choices in Brisbane and for you to meet the midwives. All women whether clients or not are welcome to our education groups and social get togethers.
