TK Community Care Services is prepared and actively supporting all SIL houses and participants.

Our team is:
• Reviewing emergency plans and Cyclone Kits in all SIL homes
• Ensuring essential items, medication, and charged devices are ready
• Keeping communication open with staff, participants, and families
• Prepared to respond quickly during the weather event

Cyclone Safety Tips:
• Keep emergency radios and power banks charged
• Have water, non-perishable food, and basic supplies accessible
• Store important documents safely in a waterproof place
• Stay indoors and away from windows
• Expect strong winds, heavy rain, and possible power outages
• Follow updates from BOM and NT Emergency Services

🌸 About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to people living with disability in a supported living environment.
This role involves assisting clients with personal care, daily living tasks, and community participation.

🌸 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Support clients with household tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Assist clients to engage in community and recreational activities
- Promote independence, choice, and dignity in daily living

🌸 About You:
- Empathetic, patient, and respectful of individual needs
- Experience or interest in disability support or community care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent (desirable)
