ITS TIMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

As we approach the end of another big year, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your ongoing support, trust, and partnership throughout 2025. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication of our employees and the continued collaboration of our participants, families, support coordinators, and stakeholders.

Please be advised that Kindred Support Pty Ltd will be closed from Friday, 19 December 2025, and will reopen on Monday, 12 January 2026.

During this period, our office will be closed, and emails and phone calls to the office line will not be monitored.

However, as always, our On-Call system will remain in place over the entire Christmas and New Year period for urgent matters and participant-related emergencies.
Employees and participants are familiar with this process and should continue using the On-Call number as required.

We wish you all a safe, joyful, and restful Christmas and New Year, and we look forward to continuing our work together in 2026.

We’re Hiring - Complex Disability Support Worker Team Leader 🌟

Are you a natural leader with a passion for supporting complex participants and guiding a strong, professional team? This role is for you.

✨ About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, confident Team Leader to oversee our Complex Disability Support team within our SIL environments.

This is a PPT role (36 hours per week contract) with a set weekly roster, including weekends and sleepovers. You will play a key role in mentoring staff, ensuring high quality supports, and maintaining a safe, structured environment for participants with complex needs.

✨ Our Non-Negotiables

To be successful in this role, you must have:

✔️ Minimum 2+ years experience as a Disability Support Worker
✔️ Strong experience in SIL homes and complex behaviours of concern
✔️ Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
✔️ Availability to work up to 38 hours p/w, including weekends
✔️ Sleepover availability
✔️ Must hold a valid driver’s licence and have your own car with comprehensive insurance
✔️ Working With Children Check (NSW & VIC)
✔️ National Police Check
✔️ First Aid & CPR Certificate
✔️ High level of professionalism, communication, and documentation skills (shift notes are compulsory non-negotiable)

🎄 It’s Silly Season at Kindred Support! (We love Christmas and we've already started our festivities!) 🎄

As we head into the end of the year, we’re feeling incredibly proud of how far Kindred has come - and even more excited about what’s next!

✨ Big news: You’ll see us featured in the Border Mail next Wednesday - wohoo! We can’t wait to share more about the heart behind what we do and the impact we’re making across the Albury-Wodonga community.

Over the past year, we’ve continued to grow and refine our services to make sure we’re delivering the very best support possible. As part of this, we’re saying goodbye to our School Holiday Programs (thank you to all the amazing families who joined us along the way!) and focusing our energy on expanding our Adult Group Programs - designed to build independence, connection, and life skills in a supportive environment.

Our main focus moving forward is on Accommodation Supports, including Respite and SIL (Supported Independent Living). We have limited capacity for community access and in-home supports at this time, as our priority is providing quality, person-centred accommodation options that truly feel like home.

We’re wrapping up the year with full hearts, an incredible team, and some exciting projects ahead. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of the Kindred journey - your trust, support, and shared passion for empowering people means the world to us.
