✨ Maternity Leave Position – Support Coordinator ✨

Kindred Coordination – Albury/Wodonga
Commencing: 5th January 2025

At Kindred Coordination, we’re passionate about empowering people with disabilities to live independently, confidently, and in control of their lives. We’re growing our Support Coordination team and are seeking a confident, skilled and values-driven Support Coordinator to join us while one of our team members is on maternity leave - with every intention to keep the right person on beyond the contract.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working with participants to build their capacity and achieve their NDIS goals

Coordinating supports, liaising with providers, families & stakeholders

Problem-solving, advocating, and creatively supporting participants to live the life they choose

Maintaining accurate documentation and case notes (we work smart, not complicated 😉)

Contributing to a supportive, collaborative and fun team culture in the office

Some days you’ll be collaborating with the team, and other days you’ll be confidently working independently

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2 years experience in Support Coordination

Strong understanding of the NDIS, support systems and community networks

Able to work independently while also thriving within a dynamic and supportive team

Confident communicator who builds strong, professional relationships

Organised, proactive & ready to take initiative

Someone who wants long-term growth - not just a job

🎄 It’s Silly Season at Kindred Support! (We love Christmas and we've already started our festivities!) 🎄

As we head into the end of the year, we’re feeling incredibly proud of how far Kindred has come - and even more excited about what’s next!

✨ Big news: You’ll see us featured in the Border Mail next Wednesday - wohoo! We can’t wait to share more about the heart behind what we do and the impact we’re making across the Albury-Wodonga community.

Over the past year, we’ve continued to grow and refine our services to make sure we’re delivering the very best support possible. As part of this, we’re saying goodbye to our School Holiday Programs (thank you to all the amazing families who joined us along the way!) and focusing our energy on expanding our Adult Group Programs - designed to build independence, connection, and life skills in a supportive environment.

Our main focus moving forward is on Accommodation Supports, including Respite and SIL (Supported Independent Living). We have limited capacity for community access and in-home supports at this time, as our priority is providing quality, person-centred accommodation options that truly feel like home.

We’re wrapping up the year with full hearts, an incredible team, and some exciting projects ahead. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of the Kindred journey - your trust, support, and shared passion for empowering people means the world to us.

✨ About the Role
We need passionate, reliable Support Workers who can work shift work, including:
✔️ Weekends
✔️ Sleepovers
✔️ Public Holidays

✨ Our non-negotiables
✔️Shift notes are compulsory, if you can’t complete them, this role isn’t for you.
✔️ Must hold a valid driver’s license and have your own car with comprehensive insurance.
✔️ Must have a Working with Children Check (VIC & NSW).
✔️ Must hold a National Police Check.
✔️️ Must hold a First Aid certificate
✔️ Must have availability for at least 30 hours per week.
✔️ Experience with complex clients is essential.
