Our hearts are with our Victoria Police colleagues following the tragic events in Porepunkah.
Our deepest sympathies are with the families, friends, and communities of the two police officers who lost their lives, and with the officer who was injured while on duty. No one should go to work and not return safely to their loved ones.
As part of the wider emergency services family, we stand shoulder to shoulder with Victoria Police and honour the dedication, courage, and service of all those who protect our community.
If you are feeling the weight of this tragedy, please reach out for support. Help is available 24/7 through Lifeline (13 11 14) or Beyond Blue (1300 224 636).
