It is with great sadness that we note the passing of Kathy Sartori, admired and loved wife of Dr Peter Sartori, who founded Wodonga West Medical Clinic.
She has passed away after a brave struggle with illness. She was a very special person, who always gave of herself to others. She had a genuine interest in people and even at the end it was her husband, family and friends that were foremost in her thoughts.
She had a gentle wit and a kind, generous nature. No matter the circumstance she appeared calm and consoling to everyone around her. She was a great support to Peter and as a former director of the clinic she helped shape the direction of the clinic, always aiming to provide the best of care to their Wodonga community.
She was able to accomplish much throughout her life, all while raising six children, supporting a busy husband and his practice and pursuing her career teaching special needs students.
Even after retirement from work she volunteered with the Cancer Council to continue to help those in need.
She led a life dedicated to helping others and there will be many in our community who will mourn her passing.
