Our Optimum family is taking a well-earned break over Christmas!

The clinic will be closed from 12pm on Tuesday 24th December and will reopen on Monday 5th January 2026.

Last Christmas outfit from me for 2025.

I was pressured by Anna’s mum, the beautiful Nana Sue, that she hadn’t seen any of the Christmas suits that she bought me.
So here is an absolute belter.

Pixellated reindeer and snowflakes along with a equally ugly but festive rashie that helps soak up the sweat!!

Hope you’ve all enjoyed following my disastrous yet flamboyant choices this year.

I wasn’t going to be beaten.

Anna very elegantly laid down the gauntlet the other day in her gold and green number, and at that point I probably should have bowed out gracefully. Instead, I went rummaging through the Christmas box and uncovered what can only be described as a double-over-the-shoulder, wrestling-meets-Santa, leotard-style situation. Not sure if I’m closer to Hulk Hogan or Sergeant Slaughter!

Originally bought for Anna. Turns out it was roughly seventeen sizes too big…so how could I resist?

I put it on, looked in the mirror, took a deep breath, and thought: well… we’re here now.
If Christmas is about joy, generosity, and letting your dignity slide just a little for the entertainment of others, then I feel I’ve done my bit.

And now presenting… Anna, in what can only be described as the most elegant Christmas forest ever put into dress form. 🌿🦌✨

If you look closely, you’ll notice a herd of very distinguished gold reindeer grazing, posing, probably discussing reformer maintenance schedules and clinic workflows!! The green is bold, festive and impossible to miss (much like Anna herself, but for different reasons depending on the day 😅).

Not only is she rocking the dress, she’s also striking a pose that says:
“I fully intend to outdress Joe today.”
Fair play. Challenge accepted.

Between the gold deer, the Christmas energy and the power-stance, we’re calling this outfit festive-fashion-perfection.

Well… we always knew this day would come 😢

Our legendary Office Manager Liv is officially heading off on maternity leave as she prepares to welcome Bub No.3 into the world! While we couldn’t be happier for her growing family, the rest of us are currently taking deep breaths into paper bags and Googling “how to run a clinic without Liv.”

For years, Liv has been the calm in the chaos, the steady voice at the end of the phone, the one who keeps this place upright while Joe wanders around in odd Christmas socks claiming it’s ‘strategic leadership.’
She’s organised us, rescued us, fed us and corrected our paperwork...

Now it’s time for her to swap emails for newborn cuddles, spreadsheets for swaddles, and staff reminders for “sleep when the baby sleeps”… (ha — as if).

Liv, from all of us here at Optimum:
Thank you for everything you’ve done, everything you’ve fixed, everything you’ve remembered when the rest of us forgot.
You’ve shaped this place more than you even realise.

We’ll miss you massively, but we’re cheering you on for this next chapter, and we cannot wait to meet the newest little member of Team Optimum 👶💚

Meet Georgie.
Georgie has been part of the Optimum family for almost three years now, and she’s one of those clients who lights up the building the moment she walks through the door. She turns up, she works hard, she laughs, she chats — and she brings an energy that reminds us exactly why we love what we do.

Here she is with Kylie, her Pilates group instructor, both sporting festive gear that could outshine a Christmas tree. Georgie’s outfit is everything we hoped December would be — baubles, snowflakes, sparkle and joy stitched into every thread.

We’re grateful for her commitment, her warmth, and her ability to show up with a smile — even on the tougher days. Clients like Georgie make this place feel like a community, not just a clinic.
