It’s about eating well, moving well and living well - being a role model for your children so that they avoid the dieting rollercoaster and mindset that you have endured - helping them see that ‘healthy’ is easy and ‘normal’. And most importantly that it’s also about building self-acceptance, self-confid

ence, self-care and your dreams. We also GET that you’re busy and juggling all of life’s demands - but that you still want to feel and look amazing - to live your life with confidence. We’re here to treat you and your health as a whole - treating you as the individual you are - not a number or a generic cookie-cutter stereo type based on scales or your years on earth.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻.

They were tired of fitness spaces that weren't built for them.

They were done being the exception instead of the rule.

But here's what I know after 10 years of working exclusively with women over 40: you're not broken, you're not too late, and here - you're certainly not an afterthought.

While other gyms are suddenly discovering that women in midlife exist - offering their shiny new "28-day menopause resets" and "healthy aging programs" as side offerings to their real business - this has been my only business for a decade.

Not a trend I'm capitalising on.
Not a program I've added to stay relevant.

This is what I do. Who I serve. What I've spent years perfecting.

Every program I've designed, every piece of equipment I've chosen, every conversation I have - it's all been created with you in mind.

I've been watching other gyms suddenly discover "midlife fitness" lately.

Interesting timing.

For the past 10 years, I've dedicated my entire business to understanding exactly what women over 40 need from fitness.

Not as a side program.
Not as a trend.
As my life's work.

I'm 54. I didn't stumble into this market because it looked profitable — I AM this market.

I've lived the frustration of gyms that don't get it.
The programs that ignore hormonal changes.
The trainers who think "just work harder" is the answer to everything.
The environments that make you feel like you're failing when your body simply works differently now.

So I built something different.

For a decade, I've been perfecting what midlife fitness actually looks like:
→ Strength training that builds the bone density and muscle mass menopause tries to steal
→ Cardio programming that energises rather than exhausts (proudly burpee-free!)
→ Workouts that honour where your body is right now — past injuries, current limitations, and all

I have members who've been training with me for years.
Not because they had to.
Because they found their home.

Because they found someone who understands that midlife isn't about shrinking yourself or proving you can keep up with 25-year-olds.

It's about building strength for the life you want to keep living.

While others are just figuring this out, I've been living it.
In our regional community.
With real women.
Getting real results.

This isn't theory for me.
It's not a marketing angle.
It's 10 years of understanding that women over 40 deserve better than generic fitness solutions.

This week marked the end of an era.

After more than 10 years of Real Girls classes in Culcairn, Monday was our final session there.

Culcairn is where this whole journey began.

Back then I was a mobile trainer with a boot full of equipment, running small sessions and figuring things out as I went. Those early sessions became the foundation for what would eventually grow into The Real Girls Movement.

Over the years we trained in community halls, parks, footy ovals, schools and everywhere in between. But the constant was always the women who showed up week after week.

The Real Girls Movement wouldn’t exist today without the incredible community that started there.

Very grateful for the past decade — and excited for what comes next 💙

Women didn’t gain access to Olympic track & field because attitudes evolved.⁠

They gained it because Alice Milliat forced the issue. 💪⁠

As shares, Milliat didn’t wait for inclusion — she demanded it. ⬇️⁠

In the early 1900s, the IOC claimed athletics were too dangerous for women.⁠

Alice refused to accept it.⁠

So in 1921, she founded the Fédération Sportive Féminine Internationale.⁠

And the following year, she organized the Women’s World Games — where women competed at the highest level. Crowds came. Records were broken. 🏆⁠

By 1928, women were finally allowed to compete in Olympic track & field.⁠

Alice didn’t wait for permission — she built something new and changed the game forever. 🔥⁠

Here’s to every woman who refused to wait, who built her own path, and who proved them all wrong. 🙌⁠

Kate has been training with me since 2022, and today we celebrated a HUGE milestone — 500 sessions.

At 72, Kate is one of those women who just shows up. No fuss. No fanfare. Consistent, determined, and quietly very strong. The kind of strong that often surprises people — including those half her age.

She comes for the accountability, the mental space, and the social connection… and the strength that’s built real confidence along the way. Since joining the studio, Kate has even taken up horse riding again — because this stage of life isn’t about slowing down.

Kate, you inspire more women here than you probably realise — and 500 sessions is something to be incredibly proud of.
