Meet the people working behind the scenes to help our community sleep better and enjoy a better time in bed.

First up: Amanda
Sleep Clinics began with a simple goal.

As a pharmacist, Amanda saw how many people were living with ongoing fatigue and poor sleep, often without answers.

She wanted to create a local service that offered compassionate, evidence based sleep care close to home - in other words, a better time in bed..

Today, our team continues that mission, providing home based diagnostics and personalised treatment across Albury, Wodonga and Corowa.

Many people assume sleep testing requires an overnight hospital stay. In most cases, it does not.

A home based sleep study allows you to sleep in your own bed while monitoring your breathing, oxygen levels and sleep patterns.

The equipment is simple to use. Results are reviewed carefully to determine whether treatment is needed.

Accessible diagnostics mean you can get answers without travelling far.

To organise a sleep study, contact Sleep Clinics on 02 6024 2727.

Snoring is often brushed off as harmless. But persistent, loud snoring can be a sign of sleep apnoea.

It can also disrupt partners and families, affecting everyone’s rest.

Snoring affects around 24 percent of men and 17 percent of women.

If snoring is regular and paired with tiredness or morning headaches, it is worth investigating. A home based sleep study can provide clarity.

If you are diagnosed with sleep apnoea, CPAP therapy is often recommended.

CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure.

It works by gently keeping your airway open while you sleep, preventing breathing interruptions.

Modern CPAP devices are quiet, compact and designed for comfort. The key to success is correct fit and ongoing support.

We guide you through the process step by step.

Contact us to discuss whether CPAP therapy is right for you.

If your sleep feels unsettled, small changes can help.

Here are three practical habits to try:

1. Go to bed and wake up at the same time each day, even on weekends.
2. Reduce screen time at least one hour before bed.
3. Avoid caffeine late in the afternoon and evening.

Consistency matters.

If you are still waking tired despite healthy habits, there may be an underlying issue. Our team can help you find answers. We give you a better time in bed.

Sleep apnoea is a common but often undiagnosed condition.

It happens when breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep. Many people do not realise it is even happening.

Common signs include:
πŸ’€Loud, persistent snoring
😩 Waking with a dry mouth or headache
😴 Feeling exhausted during the day
πŸ€ͺ Poor concentration

Sleep apnoea affects around 3 in 10 men and 1 in 5 women. A simple home based sleep study can provide answers.

If these symptoms sound familiar, and you want a better time in bed, contact Sleep Clinics on 02 6024 2727 to learn more.

The better you sleep, the better you feel.

Tossing and turning. Lying wide awake. The next day feeling tired and irritable.

Good sleep is an important ingredient for mental and physical health. A stepping stone to a better quality of life.

Unfortunately, as many as four in ten Australians do not get what is considered β€œhealthy sleep”.

If you're one of those four, get in touch and speak with our team to understand what is affecting your sleep and how it can be treated.

Just a quick reassurance that our Albury Clinic is operating as usual inside the Priceline Pharmacy Albury, which is locally owned and unaffected by recent media reports.

To our valued customers & the greater Albury community.

We’ve had a number of concerned customers reach out after seeing recent media reports about Priceline Pharmacies. Thank you sincerely for the messages of support β€” we truly appreciate it. We want to reassure our community that Priceline Pharmacy Albury is not going anywhere and we remain fully committed to serving Albury for many years to come.

Some of the headlines circulating are quite misleading. The media reports relate to a specific group of pharmacists who own multiple pharmacies across different brands and are currently experiencing financial difficulty. These matters do not impact Priceline Pharmacy Albury or the broader Priceline Pharmacy network across Australia.

As many of you know, Priceline Pharmacy Albury is locally owned and operated by Amanda Ward, and is completely independent of the group of pharmacies referenced in the media.

We would also like to clarify some common misconceptions. Wesfarmers does not own Priceline Pharmacies. Following its acquisition of Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API), Wesfarmers operates as a pharmacy wholesaler and franchisor. Under Australian pharmacy ownership regulations, community pharmacies must be owned by registered pharmacists, not corporations .

Our thoughts are with the pharmacies, staff and communities affected by the current situation, and we hope their challenges are resolved as soon as possible.

As for us, we have exciting plans ahead for Priceline Pharmacy Albury and are incredibly grateful for the continued trust and support of our local community

πŸ”₯ Bushfire Smoke & Your CPAP Machine πŸ”₯

With the current fires across Victoria, there is increased smoke and poor air quality in our region. Our hearts go out to everyone affected, and we would like to acknowledge the firefighters and emergency crews on the ground doing an incredible job in very challenging conditions.

If you use a CPAP machine, it’s important to take a few extra precautions during this time.

πŸ’¨ Why this matters:
Smoke contains fine particles that can quickly clog your CPAP filter and irritate your airways.

βœ… What we recommend:

β€’ Check your CPAP filter more often

β€’ Change disposable filters more frequently (weekly if smoky)

β€’ Check and wash reusable filters every few days

β€’ Replace the filter immediately if it looks grey, dusty, or smells smoky

β€’ Keep windows closed and use an air purifier in your bedroom if possible

Using a clean filter helps protect your lungs, maintain proper airflow, and keep your machine working effectively.

If you’re unsure which filter you need or would like to purchase spares, please contact our clinic β€” we’re happy to help.
