💛 Meet the coach - Ros 💛

Ros brings experience and warmth to Fun Fit Waterpolo. With a long and dedicated career as a nurse, midwife, and Maternal Child Health Nurse, she's spent many years supporting mums and families through both joyful and challenging times.

After sustaining a back injury a few years ago, Ros struggled to find an exercise routine that would keep her strong until she discovered waterpolo. What started as a way to regain physical strength quickly became something much more.

Through waterpolo, Ros found fun, connection, and joy with an amazing community of teammates and club members. It’s been a truly life-changing experience for her and now she hopes that Fun Fit Waterpolo can be just as empowering and uplifting for you! 💙💪

☀️Meet the coach- Amanda ☀️

She is excited to coach FunFit this season. A relative newcomer to the sport, Amanda has played water polo for two seasons and has truly fallen in love with it. Joining the team was a way to reconnect with the camaraderie of team sports, especially since land activities were tough on her joints.

By day, Amanda is a dedicated high school teacher, and in her free time, she enjoys reading and exploring new places. Currently traveling in the UK, Amanda will miss the first session but looks forward to meeting everyone upon her return!

Michelle is thrilled to be joining the FunFit team as a coach. Michelle grew up in the pool and has always loved swimming.

Michelle rediscovered her love for sport when she took up waterpolo at three seasons ago. It’s been an incredible journey, getting active again, meeting new people and having a blast in the water.

Michelle’s passionate about creating a fun and inclusive environment where everyone feels encouraged to move, laugh and grow. Michelle can’t wait to meet you all and dive into the FunFit experience together!

Michelle has been around water polo since she was a kid, with her Dad playing, then her brother, then her! Michelle played for Wodonga for a few years as a late teen, left the sport for about 15 years and then came back to Wodonga Water Polo Club 3 years ago. She loves being in the water and enjoys the physicality of water polo.

She is looking forward to spreading the joy of water polo to other women through FunFit! 💧🤽🏻‍♀️

Bernie took the plunge into water polo at 50 years young, looking for a fun way to boost fitness — and never looked back! 💪

Not only did she find a sport she loves, but she also found her tribe. Water polo has been a game-changer for Bernie — a body-positive, inclusive space where it’s all about showing up, having fun, and feeling good in your own skin.

“I’m definitely not the fastest one out there, but I have loads of fun — and that’s what counts!”

We love Bernie’s energy and passion, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of the FunFit Ladies Wodonga crew.

🌟 Meet the Coach – Helen! 🌟

Helen’s no stranger to the water – she's been swimming for years! But when laps started to feel a bit... repetitive, she decided to mix things up and joined water polo four years ago. Chasing a ball around the pool? Much more fun!

What she found was more than just a game – Water Polo gave Helen a supportive, inclusive community. Now, she's bringing that same energy to FunFit, hoping to help others feel welcomed, empowered, and have a whole lot of fun along the way!

Time to meet the faces behind Fun Fit ladies wodonga!

☀️Meet the coach- Millie! ☀️

Millie has been part of the Wodonga Waterpolo Club for four seasons, she started with no experience but her love of swimming and willingness to give something new a go has seen her grow into a confident player, competing in the Victorian Country Championships and making plenty of friends along the way. 💪

Off the pool deck, she’s currently studying to become a drama teacher, and she brings that same energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to her coaching.

Millie is super excited to meet all of you and help make your time in the pool fun, supportive, and full of laughs! 🩷
