Another one down! 🤰
Our gorgeous Alissa has officially started her maternity leave, off to have her own little surprise bundle of joy. 🩷🩵 Everyone is waiting keenly to find out if we have a pink one or a blue one!

Tanya and Molly will cover any of Alissa’s patients who have not yet finished their care, so please contact reception if you have any queries or concerns to book an appointment but never fear there is a few new faces coming around the clinic in the coming weeks and a few old ones returning soon 🫶🏻

Our sincerest apologies if you were meant to see Lindsay in clinic this week - she didn’t quite make it to her 38 week start date for maternity leave!

Fortunately that means we get to introduce our newest Earthside baby - Felicity ‘Flick’ Blomfield, born at 37.1/40 on Friday 10th of October - 3.63kg! Mum, Dad and little(-ish) girl going well and enjoying the newborn bubble!

Molly, Alissa and Tanya are covering all of Linds’ patients for the duration of her mat leave, she will see you back in clinic in 2026!

Using your BRAIN in pregnancy, birth & postpartum! 🧠

When faced with decisions about interventions, tests, or care options, it can feel overwhelming. The BRAIN acronym gives you a simple way to pause, gather information, and make choices that feel right for you and your family.

What does my gut tell me? What feels right?

What a pleasure to talk to Madi from the Border Mail about our Early Pregnancy Assessment Service, to get the word out to women and families about their local options for care regarding early pregnancy complications, miscarriage or concerns.

We feel so lucky to be supported in offering this locally! 🫶🏻

6 months of EPAS already! 🗓️
Early Pregnancy Assessment Service, for scheduled, non-acute complications or concerns in early pregnancy. Same day appointments are generally available.

This may include, but is not limited to:
✓ Miscarriage or suspected miscarriage support/management
✓ Investigation of bleeding or pain in early pregnancy
✓ Medical Termination of Pregnancy
✓ Bedside ultrasound
✓ Management of nausea and vomiting
✓ 1:1 support to manage early pregnancy anxiety
✓ Genetic screening counselling/collection

Tuesday | 8am- 5pm - early start for those women needing fasting bloods such as the Glucose tolerance test!

Wednesday | 11am-7pm - for those after work appointments!

& some Saturdays | 9am-12pm - can’t make a weekday.. this day is for you!
