Two Medicine Drums that went to their forever homes today

On the left - 16” drum - Fallow Deer ( male ) and Tassie Blackwood Hoop( hoop from Wolf Drums & Flutes )
On the right - 16” drum - Red Deer ( male ) and Pine Hoop ( hoop from Wolf Drums & Flutes )

Both hides hand scrapped by myself with no chemicals used in their creation.
Both hoops steam bent in the traditional way by a master craftsman and who I consider the best trad drum maker in Australia, such an honour to use these hoops and birth some potent medicine tools with them as well.

Always an honour to get to birth medicine tools for someone and I hope they bring lots of healing not only for their new owners but the people they work with as well 🙏

We had a potent Medicine Drum Journey last night, very grateful for the people who came and journeyed with me.

A new offering is coming 😊

I’m going to strip it right back and I will be offering a Medicine Drum Journey using only my Medicine Drum, Native American style flute and Medicine Rattle.
The medicine drum is where I started many moons ago on my journey with sound followed by the Native American style Flute and rattle not long after.

These sound tools are my go to’s in a lot of my one on one work and i do use them a lot in my sound journey’s as well.
To strip it right back is like a homecoming to my roots and the drum is a huge passion for me all round. I offer drum/rattle making workshops as well and there is nothing better than helping someone birth their own drum or birthing one for someone.
I’m looking forward to what will be a monthly mayb fortnightly offering, creating a space for people to drop in and just be with themselves without all the fluff involved.
