Today is Dean Zalunardo’s last day with us at South Coast Health Hub.

Dean has accepted a full-time physiotherapy role with the Cronulla Sharks in the NRL. It’s a huge achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication and skill he brings to every environment he’s part of.

We’re proud of what he’s built here and even prouder to see him take this next step. The whole team is behind him and we can’t wait to see what he does in this new chapter.

Thanks for everything, Dean. You’ll always be part of the SCHH family.

A big welcome to David Watts

David is an experienced Exercise Physiologist with a strong background in athletic testing, strength and conditioning, musculoskeletal rehab, and chronic disease management. He has worked with leading Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy clinics across Sydney and has held key strength and conditioning roles within the NRL Pathways for the Dragons and Wests Tigers. David currently serves as Head of Strength & Conditioning for the Dragons NRLW squad.

A big shoutout to Dean Zalunardo – physio for the Jersey Flegg U21’s. While the team didn’t make the finals this year, Dean has had a huge season supporting the squad.

We’re fortunate to have Dean as part of our South Coast Health Hub team in Wollongong, where he brings that same energy and expertise to supporting our patients in the clinic.

It was a great chance to give back, connect with each other outside the clinic, and literally grow together as a team.

Big congratulations to our own Matt Gleeson!

Matt is the physiotherapist for both the Dragons NRL squad and the NSW Cup team, who made it all the way to the Grand Final against the New Zealand Warriors on the weekend. While the result didn’t go their way, it caps off an exceptional season.

We’re lucky to have Matt bringing that same expertise and dedication to our patients here at our Wollongong clinic.

After all the success of our Ratatouilles the last few years, we are proud to announce we are going to have TWO ladies teams for Friday nights! Introducing the Oak Flats RATETTES to join our Ratatouilles. This is great news for our club and the competition. The girls have started pre-season training together already.
