Almost time to begin our adventure to QLD with the mighty little free form clay Medicine Bears coming along for the Winter Retreat afternoon teachings of Medicine Bear. So looking forward to being in the company of the trees at Feathertail and sitting in circle with Merryl big dreamer of Heart Earth Radiance and with beautiful souls hearing the call of the land, their Spirit and their Medicine Bear for a day of gentle introspect and deep listening.

Along my journey I have been blessed to have the opportunity to trade in exchange for attending events that my Spirit craved but my budget didn’t allow for! Offering my teachings from home allows me to embrace the practice of trade and give back what I have been fortunate to receive over the years.

Yes, I still have bills to pay so there will be some exchange of money but if you are in a position to trade a little too I am open to that being apart of our exchange.

Below are some ideas for trade or you can contact me for a ‘Trade Menu’ - a starting point to what we could exchange.

PLANTS, SEEDS, CUTTINGS….
We have a large portion of the yard that is slowing forming a food forest & a large veggie patch. Both always in need of seasonal flowers for the insect tribe, native plants for the birds that visit, companion plants, veggies & herbs. We also have a green house that could be housing plenty more seedlings or cuttings to fill the gaps in the forest or garden when they appear.

FRESH FRUIT & VEG….
There are times when the garden gives an abundance of one but everyone else is slow to ripen, so perhaps you are in abundance while I am still patiently waiting!

HOME BEAUTIFYING….
Both my partner and I have Venus in big portions of our cosmic make up. So beautifying our home & land with creative projects and bringing nature into as many of living spaces as possible is a must! I know our indoor plants are requiring dividing & re-potting so perhaps yours are too. You may have flowers that would be perfect for a vase or you make candles from your kitchen, you could even have something we can repurpose for our next project.

CRAFT SUPPLIES…..
Perhaps you have an abundance of feathers, leathers or fur from your craft projects that you can spare. These could go on to others to work with in my teachings of Medicine tool crafting.

LUNCH & SNACKS….
And if cooking is your passion you could bring lunch for the gathering as part of your trade.

Start looking at what you have flowing in abundance that may delight the Earth honouring, Venus ruled senses and let’s start the conversation.

May is the month of Mermaids in my little art studio. 🧜🏼‍♀️
I have been commissioned to create an abstract deep underwater scene on a circle canvas that is 90cm in diameter. The abstract scene with be filled with mermaids hidden throughout some being easier to focus on then others. An illusionary effect that is going to stretch my creative skills as I have not attempted anything like this before but I am excited to take on the challenge!
These photos are the base colours on the canvas that I will be building the many mermaids out of from my template. I think I counted 63 mermaids sketched?!?

A day that filled up the honey pot, welcoming women into my home for Teachings & Craft with Grandmother Spider. And for all the women I have sat with in circle for these teachings thank you for allowing me to witness your Medicine Shield’s birth, each as unique as your individual stories.
I will be offering this event again for some that couldn’t make it this time round. Still looking at dates but I will be before winter arrives. If you are interested in attending please contact me & I will let you know the date.
