Community Gateway Community Gateway is an Aged Care and Disability Service Provider located in the Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Mid North Coast.

Our primary objective is to provide quality, accessible and empowering support to our service users. Other Objectives include:

- Individualised support and information is provided to enable service users to have informed choice.
- Service users have the right to self determination about support provided to achieve and maintain social independence.
- Service provision meets or exceeds all standard

s, guidelines and the professional ethics of the organisation.
- Valued partnerships with service users, representative groups and other stakeholders are built and maintained.

Meet Jim, one of our dedicated Activities Instructors 💜

Jim's days are all about connection and creating fun, engaging days for our clients. Whether he’s leading a cooking program or heading out for a scenic drive, his goal is to make every day enjoyable.

When he’s not out in the community, James stays active. He’s completed over 30 marathons and even spent a few years racing cars! During quieter moments, he enjoys peaceful walks along the Blue Mile with his dog Sammy, or being outside in peaceful country settings.

Laughter, connection and plenty of smiles! 😄🌸

Our Festival of Laughter for NSW Seniors Festival was a wonderful day at Community Gateway’s Kempsey Hub. We enjoyed laughter yoga, a comic interactive poetry performance, morning tea, and a BBQ lunch in the garden.

A big thank you to Kempsey Shire Council for making this event possible through their grant, as well as Taylors Arm Flower Farm for the beautiful flowers and Valley Garden Centre for sharing their lovely greenery. 🌿💐
