We kicked things off with door-to-door pick-ups, then enjoyed a relaxed morning tea at the Lagoon before heading to Winding Bowling Club for a delicious lunch 🍽️

Meet Melissa, one of our amazing Community Support Workers 💜

Supporting both aged care and disability participants, Melissa spends her days doing what she loves most: helping people, having meaningful chats, and making a genuine difference in the lives of others. She especially loves spending time with older members of our community, because “there’s so much to learn from them,” and that’s what makes her role so rewarding.

When she’s off the clock, you’ll likely find Melissa at a live concert or heading down to the beach to unwind by the water 🌊

☕ Non-negotiable? Coffee to start the day�
🎤 Downtime? Live music (Lady Gaga in December = incredible!)�
📺 Guilty pleasure? WWE Raw, Smackdown, plus a good murder mystery or The Rookie�
✈️ Dream destinations? Paris, London & the Amalfi Coast�
🤼 Fun fact? Loves wrestling and went to WWE WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans!

A highlight from 2025! ⭐

In November last year, our Chief Operations Officer, Tegan Bezzina, was a Finalist in the Leadership Category at the Community Service Awards, a recognition of her dedication and leadership in supporting our community 👏🏼

We were also honoured to be Finalists in the Partnership Award, alongside Flagstaff, for our collaboration on the Gateway Life Café.
