At Wollongong Diagnostics, our MSK ultrasound service allows your doctor to see how muscles and joints are functioning in real time.

Using sound waves, we capture images of muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints and soft tissues — helping to diagnose injuries like muscle strains, tendon injuries, joint swelling, or nerve issues.

These scans take 20-30 minutes, require no special preparation, and are usually bulk-billed under Medicare. Results are sent directly to your referring doctor within 24-48 hours.
