In the majority of leadership teachings at business schools and universities.....

We are not taught to love, to love ourselves and each other as the highest strategy to success but to compete for market domination.

We are not taught that conflict is intelligent and has within it the next most perfect strategic step. Instead we blame and politick conflict away.

We are not taught that our imperfections are what makes us beautiful and that a deeper sense of our leadership and 'why' are found within them. Instead we masquerade in perfection all the while feeling less than underneath.

We are not taught to encourage the unique greatness within each other but rather have you match a list of 24 competencies that make you like everyone else. We link your financial rewards to not following your natural talents too.

We are not taught to look for vision and talent found within uncertainty and confusion because vulnerability is weak and power and control are king.

We are not taught that the ability to stop and be still harnesses innovation and creativity because being busy is a definition of success. "How are you?" says she. "Busy! Flat out!" says he. "Good for you!" she responds. Sound familiar?

We are not taught that being present to our feelings IS THE MOST critical competency for extraordinary performance. Instead we believe that we won't function if we feel.

We are not taught that connecting human being to human being first is what creates trust and engagement because we have KPI's to achieve, budgets to achieve and shareholders to impress.

We are not taught that inspiration is one of the greatest connectors to our own and others' potential because we believe that climbing a ropes course on your yearly conference creates trust.

We have been afraid to be who we are - all of who we are in our business societies. The industrial revolution, the era of total quality management, the information age and work only serving to put food on the table have left little room for valuing the whole human being turning up at work. But things are changing now. In fact, the amazing Leo Buscaglia taught Love 101 at the University of Southern California in the 1960's!

This is what Love Intelligence is bringing to business and so watch this space. The Love Intelligent page is taking a turn with a more specific message for a more specific audience and we are excited!

The intelligence of love is so complete that it is offers us all that we could ever desire. There are few that trust in its completeness, but those that do, rejoice in a sense of abundance beyond comprehension.

Our world is cloaked in a mask that serves fear and all its servants, and here chaos, pain, suffering, destruction are the only outcomes. All the time perceiving love as weak.

But love is strength itself, love doesn't only give, it receives, love has boundaries that serve its purpose, love holds true to these, love is clear, compassionate, but unrelenting in its beauty and joy, pointing out to those unclear of what it is, where they can not see, in compassion.

In servitude to love, we free ourselves, not bound ourselves, love wants for us the most incomprehensible love and abundance, yet in our fear we perceive the opposite.

Love is the only true leader, it is natural order, the only path of truth. So let go and let love lead you down the river, no need to fight it, flow with it, let it take you unexpected places and experiences previously thought impossible.
