For some of us, hunger and appetite is never too far away (myself included ๐Ÿ˜ƒ).

For others, due to various factors (e.g. medication) and imbalances such as emotional stress, lack of appetite not only robs us of the pleasure of eating, but is an indicatore of poor AGNI and and most IMPORTANTLY, an obstacle to eating a variety of foods to give us the energy and nutrients our cells need to keep immunity strong and body & mind in an optimal state.

If this is the case for you, here are some home remedies to STIMULATE your APPETITE & AGNI:

๐ŸŒฟ GINGER: each morning

- Ginger tea: heaped 1 tsp of freshly grated ginger in a cup of warm filtered water in the mornning
- Chop up ginger into small pieces, add some lime juice and a pinch of quality salt. Eat it all up and you'll also get a mind-clearing wake up ZING!

๐ŸŒฟ BLACK PEPPER - do this about half an hour before your meal
Mix about 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper powder with 1/2 teaspoon of ground jaggery and wash it down with a cup of warm water.

๐ŸŒฟ FENNEL - another excellent
- Fennel tea; boil 2 teaspoons of fennel seed in 2 cups of water. Steep and sip warm.
- Simply chew on raw or roasted fennel seeds half an hour before the meal
- Add 1 tsp powdered fennel to your morning warm water

OR
Just skipping breakfast, without nibbling anything...and by lunchtime appetite will very likely return when your AGNI - DIGESTIVE FIRE is stronges. This is the best time to have your heartiest meal of the day.

Poor appetite is an indicator of low AGNI ie. Digestive FIRE.
Low AGNI creates poor appetitie, indigestion, bloating and AMA (toxins) in the gastrointestinal tract....which you can see as a white coating on the tongue and bad breath.

I harvested a massive bunch of bananas a couple of weeks ago. Green for soooooo long waiting for them to ripen, then in a matter of days I have around 80 ripe bananas!! Yikes ๐Ÿคช
Beisdes giving generous bunches ๐ŸŒ to neighbours, some in the freezer and banana muffins...the obvious to most folks to using up ripe bananas is making smoothies.

However...
๐ŸŒ Bananas & DAIRY together DONโ€™T DIGEST WELL ie. incompatiible. Especially if you have tummy or energy issues, listen in.

What to do?
๐Ÿฅ› Whilst any milks arenโ€™t great mixed with fruit, because the milky proteins coating fruit impede efficient metabolism & leave residue that putrifies in the colon. Yuk
๐Ÿซ๐ŸŽ๐ŸFRUIT should be eaten alone: clean, light food metabolised in only half an hour.

BUT...
Homemade ALMOND MILK is a fantastic alternative! LOADED with nutrition.
