The Man, The Myth, The Legend 💪💙

I thought it was about time I dedicated some grid to my other half.
I often have people ask how I do it all, run 2 businesses, work a part time job, parent little ones and maintain some kind of order in our house but this right here is the only reason I’m able to.

I call Rick my unicorn husband. He cooks, he cleans, he works, and he supports my dreams and pushes me to reach the goals I set.
He is the most incredible father and I am just so so grateful I get to do life with him by my side and grateful he still wants to stand by my side after 11 years and plenty of 11pm emotional breakdowns.

Love you babe! Thanks for stickin with me 😘

At 7pm on October 15, people all around the world remember their baby by lighting a candle in their local time zone creating a Wave of Light. This Wave of Light helps to create a sense of global connection for grieving families.

We encourage everyone, whether you have experienced pregnancy loss personally or know someone who has, to light a candle.

By lighting a candle, you send a message of love and support to those who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss. It’s a small but meaningful way to show that no one is alone in their grief.

For those who are grieving, support is available through .

The Pink Elephants Pregnancy Loss Support Line powered by PANDA is available on 1300 726 306 for you to chat about what you are experiencing. This is a free service where qualified counsellors and peer practitioners will listen and support you whenever you feel ready.

Alternative Pain Relief options- Part 2️⃣

✨ This is no ordinary comb… ✨

Birth combs are a small but mighty pain relief tool for labour.
When held with the teeth pressing into your palm, they activate acupressure points in your hand. This works in two ways:

💫 Pain Gate Theory – The sharp sensation in your hand competes with contraction pain signals, helping your brain focus on the pressure rather than the intensity of labour.
💫 Endorphin Release – Stimulating these points encourages your body to release natural pain-relieving hormones.

Small, simple, and easy to slip into your birth bag.

I have had countless mums use my custom birth combs in labour and absolutely rave about them. I have just a few birth comb sets available to purchase via my website- link in bio.

Note- all my clients get access to everything in my birth bag as a part of their package. This includes birth combs, TENS machine, birth sling and so much more!

Ever wondered what a Doula actually does?

🌿 A Doula’s role is to provide education, emotional support and physical support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

How do i work?
During pregnancy i meet with the birthing couple a number of times to build a strong relationship with trust and respect at the forefront.

I provide education and suggestions around coping mechanisms, what to expect, the mechanics of labour, education about non medical & medical pain relief options, Dads role in the birth space and tips on how he can be the perfect birth support for his partner, breastfeeding and a whole lot more.

When it comes time to have Bub, i come to your home and provide labour support. I bring the atmosphere (think fairy lights, birth affirmations, essential oils and all the beautiful, calm, birthy vibes) & non medical pain relief tools (think TENS, Birth combs, Rebozo).
When baby is getting closer, we travel to your chosen birthing location where i provide advocacy, support, and take the mental load of all the practical stuff off your hands so you can focus on the important part- bringing your baby earth side.

I bring my camera along to snap all those precious moments you’ll want to look back on one day- Those sacred moment of your partner supporting you through contractions, your baby entering the world and taking their first breaths, that wonderful golden hour filled with skin to skin, first feeds and so much more.

In the days following your birth, ill check in on your family as it settles, provide help around the home, a friendly ear to listen to your postpartum woes without judgement and i can provide in home meal prep to make sure you’re nourishing yourself because you cant poor from an empty cup.

I guess you could think of me as a calming presence, an extra set of hands, and a cheerleader for your birth and postpartum journey 💕

If you’re interested in having a chat about Doula support, send me a DM or head to my website and fill out the contact form and I’ll be in touch.

Let’s Talk Alternative Pain Relief Options For Labour 🌼

FIRST UP — The TENS Machine
(Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation)

A TENS is a small, handheld device that can make a big difference during labour 😅💪

The TENS machine works by sending gentle electrical pulses through pads placed on your lower back. These pulses help “distract” the pain signals being sent to your brain while also encouraging your body to release endorphins — your natural pain-relieving hormones.

BENEFITS-

✨Drug-free pain relief option
✨ Safe for both mum and baby
✨Can be used at home in early & in hospital
✨Puts you in control with adjustable settings

CONS-

➰Cannot be used in shower or bath- pads will re-stick if stored correctly on clear film.
➰Some woman love it and others don’t. It’s a personal choice and you won’t know until you’re actually in labour!

The trick with the TENS is to put it on early.
…and read the instructions before you are in labour. Trust me, we learnt that the hard way. It’s hard to read, apply pads, perform light touch massage and pack the car all at the same time; just ask my husband.

I offer TENS machine hire with local delivery + pickup so you can add this tool to your pain relief toolbox without forking out for a one time use item.

🌸 I have very limited spots available for the rest of 2025 for TENS hire and Doula support so reach out early to book!
DM me or enquire through my website.

✨ The placenta — the very first home, life source, and protector of our babies. 🌿

It nourishes, sustains, and connects us in the most sacred way, quietly doing its work with power and grace.
Honouring the placenta is honouring the journey of life itself — a reminder of the strength and wisdom within our bodies.

This print is a keepsake of that love, that connection, that miracle 💗

This is a service I offer my clients. Please reach out if you’re interested in honouring your placenta in this way.

Happy World Breastfeeding Week 🤱💗

For me, this week is always about celebrating those that tried, those that wished they could and those that did.
It’s also about honouring and thanking those supportive people that make Breastfeeding possible for mums.
Having a good support system is the number one determining factor for if you have a successful breastfeeding journey.
So often partners don’t value their contributions when it comes to feeding Bub but let me assure you, when you’re nap trapped on the lounge or are enduring witching hour with a Bub cluster feeding, a warm cup of tea or a cookie make all the difference.

For me this week is about celebrating literally years of breastfeeding through the good times and the bad. Through the cracked ni***es, the thrush, through teething, through oversupply, through shield feeding, through expressing, through engorgement, through moments of doubt and tears and of course through moments of pure joy and bliss, through countless hours of connection and milky cheeky smiles, through hour upon hour of skin to skin, through shower feeds & bath feeds, through bumped head feeds and skun knee feeds, I will forever cherish them all.

On my stories I shared a post by .
Megan shared that “Breastfeeding is not something you pass or fail. It’s not a test. It’s not a competition. It’s a journey you and your baby take together and no two journeys look the same.”

Whatever your Breastfeeding journey has been, take a moment to honour it, to grieve it, to celebrate it.

Each and every day we as mums are all just showing up, doing the best we can for our babies in each and every moment, and that deserves to be celebrated.

Tag a mumma who is doing an incredible job 💗

📸 This snap was taken by and it is one of my favourites. A group of mums stripped down in a paddock to make Em’s vision come to life. To celebrate Mothers.
This image is of my second child feeding and on my necklace is a tree of life pendant and a breastfeeding pendant containing my oldest child’s first curl and breastmilk from our journey set in resin. These are all so precious to me.

♾️ Full Circle ♾️

“Your fingers curl around my own,
A grip both trembling and strong.
The same hands once cradled me whole,
Now anchor you as you journey along.

Your breath is deep, your brow is fierce,
Each wave a whisper of ancient power.
And I, your mother, feel it all—
As if reborn in this very hour.

I see your strength, raw and wild,
As you roar your child into the world.
My daughter becomes a mother now,
While the cosmos silently swirls.

You squeeze my hand — I squeeze right back,
A silent vow between our bones:
I walked this path, and now you do —
But never, not ever, alone.

Then comes the cry, so pure and new,
A tiny voice fills sacred space.
You meet your child, I meet my grandchild,
Tears tracing love on every face.

So here we are — three hearts, one line,
Woven through time by unseen thread.
A child, a mother, a grandmother,
All in the room where love was led”.

This weekend I got to witness a powerful mother meet her precious new baby with the support of her partner, mother and myself.

She overcame countless fears and showed up for herself again and again as each powerful wave rolled over her.

She bravely went where she had never been before and gave birth to her sweet baby boy completely unmediated simply using her powerful voice, moving intuitively and squeezing her birth combs.

What an incredible privilege it is for me to do this work. It’s hard long hours, and sleepless nights but I feel it’s what I was called to do and I am so thankful for each and every family that invites me along to walk beside them on this journey.

This birth means that I am officially off call for a few weeks which means sleep!

If you or someone you know would like to know about the role I play as a Doula and may be interested in Doula support please send me a PM or enquire through my website.
I have very limited availability until February so please get in touch ASAP!

I am almost at capacity for 2025!

This is a bit of a pinch me moment!
It’s still wild to think that this is my actual job. Getting to meet with so many wonderful women & their families. Growing connection and building trust and then getting to witness their strength as their welcome their babies.

I am so thankful to the many families that have allowed me to walk beside them through some of their most vulnerable moments.

I am also thankful to every person that has recommended me, shared about my services, purchased from my website or interacted on my social media. I get the warm and fuzzies each time it happens!

So if you or someone you know has a Bub on the way and is curious about having Doula support get in touch sooner rather than later!
