What I do as a Key Worker?

I help families understand, plan, and confidently use their child’s NDIS funding to support their children in everyday life.

2️⃣ NDIS Reviews & Evidence
I prepare families for reviews by aligning reports, care logs, and impact statements to build strong, clear evidence for the supports their child needs.

3️⃣ Education & School Support
I bridge NDIS and education by creating practical, teacher-friendly documents and supporting families to feel confident in school planning meetings.

4️⃣ Parent & Carer Support
I walk alongside parents and carers through diagnosis and decision-making, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and never alone.

5️⃣ Practical Strategies for Real Life
I create tailored, play-based skill-building tools so everyone around the child can be a part of their development team.

And the best thing is I’m a built in support to your child’s NDIS plan under Capacity Building, so you can start with Sierra Kids straight away!

✨ Sierra Kids Parent & Carer Online Training Sessions ✨

Are you navigating the NDIS, school adjustments, reviews and reports — and wishing you just had someone to talk it through with who truly understands?

I’m opening up small-group online parent and carer training sessions designed to build your confidence, clarity and capacity.

These sessions are practical, empowering and real. You’ll walk away knowing exactly what to do next.

Topics will include:

• ✍️ How to write a powerful Carer Impact Statement
• 🎒 Preparing your child for school (or a new school year)
• 🏫 Understanding school-based adjustments and inclusion
• 🔄 Preparing for an NDIS end-of-plan review
• 🤝 Finding, onboarding and effectively using support workers

Each session is $80/hr per person, small group format, and not recorded — so you can ask questions openly and get personalised guidance in a safe space.

This is your time to ask the questions you don’t get to ask in rushed meetings.
Your time to feel clearer and more confident.

If there is enough interest, I may also offer a private recorded option for families who prefer a replay-style resource.

🌱 Sierra Kids update 🌱

I’m excited to share that Sierra Kids will now be offering consults three days per week (Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays).

This expansion allows me to support more families while continuing my two days per week working within schools — something I deeply value and which continues to inform my practice with children, families and educators.

As always, Sierra Kids remains focused on inclusion, early childhood development and practical support, alongside lived experience guidance for families of children with disability.

As school heads back for another year I just want to extend my ‘I see you’ to all of you, as parents and carers of little ones with disabilities.

I see you as you prepare all of their belongings, taking time to find the best accessible lunch containers and drink bottles.

I see you as you practice skills with your child over and over again, to assist for the times you won’t be there to help in person.

I see you as you cut off the tags, find the least annoying socks and work on ordering the ‘just right’ uniforms.

I see you as you email all your child’s therapists to coincide therapy sessions at school and around school, whilst still fulfilling the rest of your children’s extra curricula activities.

I see you as you worry about how your child will be perceived, included, adjusted for with their peers.

I see you as you spend you head in endless diaries, calendars, and planning documents creating a seamless approach to the year for your child’s life.

I see you as you hold your breath as they head into school without you…. And I see you exhale when they return.

May 2026 be safe, smooth and settled for you all this year
