What a gorgeous day out in Ashbourne for Ulrike and Christof's wedding!
The dirt roads were a reminder of country Victoria at its finest (and I was so glad I didn't wash my car beforehand!), but it was absolutely worth it to be part of this beautiful, intimate celebration on Ralf's farm.
Ulrike and Christof travelled all the way from Germany to tie the knot surrounded by their closest family and a few dear friends. Their ceremony was the perfect reflection of them β relaxed, genuine, and beautifully simple. No fuss, no frills, just two people celebrating their love in nature, exactly the way they wanted.
After we made their marriage official, I was invited to stay for "Kaffee und Kuchen" β the cherished German tradition of coffee and cake shared with loved ones in the afternoon. It was such a treat to sit with their guests, enjoy delicious cake, and soak up the warm, cosy atmosphere they'd created.
Days like this remind me why I love what I do. It's not about the big, fancy weddings (though those are wonderful too!). It's about crafting ceremonies that feel authentic to each couple, whether that's an intimate gathering on a farm or something completely different.
Ulrike and Christof, thank you for welcoming me into your special day and for the champagne, cake, and beautiful memories. Wishing you both all the happiness!
