Absolutely! So many people I’ve spoken to have shared that last year was about letting go of what no longer served them. As heartbreaking and challenging as it may have been, I truly believe it was all part of a greater purpose. Perhaps this year we’ll fully embrace our authentic, magical selves, warts and all and trust that things will align perfectly for our ultimate benefit.

Hi beautiful mamas,

How are you feeling today?

Many of us are struggling with the symptoms of burnout resulting from living in a chronic state of stress. When experiencing burnout, we may:

- experience forgetfulness
- feel withdrawn
- feel physically and emotionally exhausted
- have trouble sleeping
- notice changes in our appetite
- experience a short temper
- experience high levels of mama guilt
- experience reduced immunity
- feel unmotivated
- feel anxious or depressed

Mama, you can take steps to reclaim your well-being. These include:

- talking it through with a therapist
- asking for help
- confiding in a friend, partner, parent, neighbour, work colleague, etc.
- connecting with a community of like-minded souls
- permitting yourself to be imperfect
- avoiding comparison
- self-care
- getting plenty of sleep
- allowing yourself a break
- doing something that brings you joy
- moving your body
- detoxing from technology
- clean eating
- mindfulness & meditation
- balancing your energy

Love, compassion, joy, empathy and forgiveness vibrate at high frequencies. Fear, shame, guilt and unworthiness vibrate at low frequencies.

What self-care practices do you incorporate into your day?

🀍 Set your boundaries. Be assertive and say what needs to be said. Don’t be afraid to ask for what you want and to let go of guilt. (Note to self. I’m working on this one. πŸ˜‰)

🀍 Avoid self-comparison. Instead, practice self-compassion. What makes you wonderfully unique? What do you love about you? Remember, there will never be another you. Be sure to shine your light! ✨

🀍 Honour your emotions. Healing requires acknowledging and being honest about your feelings.

🀍 Put yourself first. It’s not selfish, it’s essential. You can’t pour from an empty cup.

🀍 Take care of your body. Get plenty of sleep. Eat nutritious food. Drink pure, filtered water. Move your body daily. Get your daily dose of vitamin D.

🀍 Trust your intuition. Your inner guidance knows best.

How often do you ground/earth yourself?

Getting into the habit of grounding yourself each day is wonderfully beneficial for balancing your physical and spiritual energy.

There are many practices you can add to your daily routine to assist you in becoming grounded. Here are just a few:

🀎 Wading or swimming in water
