💗 As Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, the impact doesn’t have to.

1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, a statistic that reminds us why awareness, early detection and research matter every single day of the year.

This October, we’ve come together to raise awareness, encourage early checks and fund life-saving research. But the need for action doesn’t end when the month does.

Here’s how you can keep making a difference:
đź’ˇ Talk about it - spark conversations about mammograms, self-checks, and breast health.
đź’ˇ Share resources - help someone in your life take action early.
đź’ˇ Donate today - fund research that saves lives and protects families.

Every conversation, every share, every donation keeps the momentum going, because breast cancer awareness shouldn’t end in October.

đź’— Breast cancer awareness starts with you.

We spoke with an expert to get the facts straight: what to look out for, when to take action, and how to look out for your loved ones. The truth is simple, the earlier breast cancer is detected, the better the chances of survival. Knowledge doesn’t just empower us, it protects lives.

This October, take a moment to learn for yourself and for the women in your life. Encourage someone to get checked, start a conversation that could make all the difference - because is the first step toward saving lives.

đź’ˇ Every check, every chat, every moment of awareness counts.

💗 Breast cancer doesn’t wait. Neither should we.

But there is hope. When breast cancer is found early, survival rates are close to 100%. When it’s found late, survival plummets to just 32%. These aren’t just numbers, they’re mothers, sisters, daughters, partners, friends.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, you can make a difference. By pledging your support, sharing the message, and starting the conversation with the women in your life, you could be the reason someone gets checked in time.

Together, our voices can save lives. Let’s make sure more women get the chance to be here for the moments that matter most.

Sadly every year, over 3,300 Australians (including 33 men) will die from breast cancer, an average of nine lives lost every day. đź’”

But together with your support, The Hospital Research Foundation Group and Australian Breast Cancer Research are funding vital research to change those outcomes.

From finding new treatments for chemotherapy-resistant breast cancer, to educating women about breast density and its implications for identifying breast cancer, research is paving the way for better diagnosis and better survival.🔬

This October, we’re asking you not just to raise awareness, but to take the next step. Because together, we can fight for a future free from breast cancer.

💗 For Vanessa, breast cancer awareness isn’t just a slogan, it was a lifeline.

Not every woman is as lucky. Every day, mothers, daughters, sisters, partners, and friends miss the opportunity for early detection simply because the conversation isn’t happening. Talking openly about mammograms and self-checks could give someone the courage to book that appointment, one small action that could mean years more with the people they love.

This October, you can be that change. Your voice could be the reason someone you care about gets checked, receives timely treatment, and celebrates another birthday, another milestone, another moment that matters.

đź’— This October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Every day, 58 Australians hear the words no one ever wants to: “You have breast cancer.” For Vanessa, an early diagnosis meant holding onto the moments that matter most...breakfast chatter, school drop-offs, bedtime giggles, and the warmth of her children’s hugs.

“When I was diagnosed, it felt as though the air had been pulled from the room. But I looked at my children and thought, I refuse to let this disease steal their mum.”

This month, we’re asking you to take the pledge to raise awareness, encourage early checks, and remind your loved ones that early detection saves lives.
