Sovereign Healing group is a fabulous choice to learn and apply self-healing within a group, and a much more affordable rate than completing certificate courses. Often a certificate course has too much content for most home users.

Next week I will be holding another Biomagnetism course and I'll be looking for volunteers to be "practice clients" for my students.

The criteria:
Must be able to lie flat on a massage table pain-free.
No chemo/radiation withing the last 12 months.
Slim bodytype, or medium bodytype with small waist. (Even though we work with all bodytypes in practice, beginners need a practice person where they can easily locate where the hips and ribs are for precise placement)
If you haven't heard of it before, Biomagnetism is an alternative modality where we find imbalances in the body and balance them with small passive magnets. It's super relaxing, done fully clothed with shoes on, and used by people with a wide range of wellness goals.

Day/time: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week (28th to 31st) 1:30pm til 4:30pm (you will be needed the total of the 3 hours). One person per day are still needed at this stage.

Water is the key for many of us!

A brand new study found that people with a low daily fluid intake (under 1.5 liters) had a 50% higher cortisol response to a stressful situation than those who met recommended daily intake levels.

This phenomenon is linked to the body’s water-regulation system, as dehydration can increase the release of vasopressin, a hormone that affects both water balance and the brain’s stress-response center, amplifying the cortisol response.

High cortisol levels can lead to increased blood sugar and fat storage, especially around the abdomen. It also interferes with the body’s use of insulin.

Chronic high cortisol is also linked to high blood pressure and can contribute to heart disease by causing artery constriction and plaque buildup.

Cortisol suppresses the immune system by reducing white blood cell activity, making you more vulnerable to infections.

High cortisol also causes muscle weakness by breaking down muscle tissue and can even lead to bone density.

High cortisol can also result in fragile skin that heals slowly and can worsen acne.

You may also experience mood swings, irritability, anxiety, depression, difficulty concentrating and decision making, disruption of sleep-wake cycle leading to chronic fatigue and insomnia.

Individuals with lower fluid intake may not feel thirstier than their well-hydrated counterparts, but their bodies will show the affects of dehydration, such as more concentrated urine, fatigue, skin issues, confusion, rapid heartbeat and more.

The cost of dehydration is high and your body is paying the price! Aim for at least 1.5 liters of water a day and be sure you are taking sufficient amounts of essential electrolytes to ensure proper hydration. Electrolytes are needed EVERY DAY not just during sick recovery!

Double Polarity Placements in Biomagnetism (Last chance to join the Zoom workshop!)

One of the simplest ways to use Biomagnetism at home - in between full sessions - is to place “Double Polarity” on key organs and other structures.

Double polarity is easily achieved when you place a positive and negative close to each other (or touching). The arrangement can be side-by-side, or one above the other.

The purpose of this sort of placement is to enhance healing of the area or optimize. We can apply to:

Hormonal glands such as Pineal, Pituitary, Thyroid, Parathyroid, Adrenal, Pancreas, Ovaries and Te**es.

Digestive structures such as stomach, duodenum, small intestine, colon.

Other special pairs including ones for blood pressure, triglycerides, blood oxygenation, breathing, headaches, detoxification and more.

Another placement which is an extension of the idea - is the Quad. The blue quad is pictured above.

You can create your own quad by taping 4 alternating pole single magnets together in a row.

The quad can be applied over the liver, pancreas, or across the forehead (my personal favorite to help switch off mentally before sleep).

I have a 2 hour Zoom workshop where you can learn these and other placements called “The Home User’s Workshop” and it’s only $99.

Did you know I've been an EFT tapper for 21 years now? **gulp**

And I learned about the technique in the most synchronistic way! Here's the story...

I had been through an emotional time trying to start a family and felt the need for some intuitive guidance. I had noticed previously that there was a psychic reader on Adelaide Street in Brisbane city... just down from my workplace.
It was the tiniest single office... a hallway ending in a single person office. Perfect for its function, private and quiet. A new reader, I was hoping they were great at their craft.... very nervous, but I gathered the bravery to make a call for a reading.

He was nice, comforting, was a general reading that wasn't super enlightening, bit was dotted with reassurances.... but it seems that's not what I was there for!

At the end of my reading, knowing my emotional state and having a 30min gap in the schedule, he asked if I'd like to try EFT. He was freshly trained and keen to help.

I'd never heard of it, but knowing a lot about energy healing and psychology I just knew I'd love it :)

We started with 10mins of instructions to learn what to do, then we did 2 sections of tapping....

1. The constricted breathing technique. After a couple of rounds it really deepened my breathing and calmed my nervous system. Crazy effective!

2. A couple of rounds with the general phrase "Even though I fear life more than death, I deeply and profoundly accept myself."
Instantly tears were streaming down my face in a deep cathartic release. We didn't go into details about the fear of life or bring up painful memories and the whole thing felt so easy to release.
I know now this short general session was just what I needed on the day to lighten the internal burdens I was carrying. And deeper work would take more time when I was ready.

Sure enough the next year I was spending more time at home while pregnant with my first child. The internet had spawned some amazing websites snd forums including Gary Craig's EFT site.

I downloaded some free instructions and started the learn. Applying to myself I could lighten some old emotions and memories.
Spurred on by these small early results I attended level 1 and 2 with Maggie Adkins.
To start I was clumsy with my words. I've always had a weak voice, been painfully shy and felt self conscious when public speaking. So I only applied it to myself each day... working through grief, trauma, insecurities, and fear of speaking and being seen.

In 2008 I began working with EFT as a practitioner with a firm personal foundation and confident skillset.

Did you know you can eliminate chocolate addiction, or is it temptation? It only takes 25min!

Smoking? 1 to 3 sessions.

Weight loss? Imagine the effect of using it concurrently with diet and exercise! We can wipe out those sabotage issues whenever they pop up :)
