I recently touched base with a previous client to see how she’s going, and she shared this with me:

💗Before the morning chaos begins, try 2 minutes of tapping while the kettle boils. This set the tone before everyone needs you.

💗When you're reading those overwhelming school emails and permission slips (especially while siting in the school pick-up line that doesn't seem to be moving 😜), tap through the stress instead of holding it in.

As an Advanced Clinical EFT Practitioner and Wellness Coach, I help mums, educators and families regulate their nervous systems, release stress and show up as the best version of themselves - at home and in the classroom.

🌅Outside of work, I’m happiest on a sunrise beach walk, camping, travelling, at live music, sharing dinner with friends, starting my day with a workout or making memories with family.

Wow, wow and WOW… what a wrap to an incredible week of Matrix Reimprinting training and certification 💜✨

I’m so deeply grateful for the opportunity to train with Lori Lamont - she holds such wisdom, warmth and integrity all in one space.

Matrix Reimprinting is a powerful, advanced form of EFT. The “matrix” refers to your energy field - the space where your memories and life experiences are stored. When a memory is still holding emotional charge in your system, we don’t just talk about it… we gently work with it.

After empowering your younger self (your “echo”), we reimprint new, positive, resourced energy back into your matrix - into your cells and your energy field.

What I love most about Matrix is that it allows clients to take tapping to the next level.
We move beyond the head and into the heart.
We send powerful messages through the subconscious.
We let the younger self know: the trauma is over now. You are safe.

A true highlight was finally meeting Katie Walker, my mentor, trainer and friend in-person. Sharing this experience with the Grow & Glow peeps and being surrounded by an incredible tribe of women made it even more special.

I’m feeling grateful. Grounded. Expanded.

And so excited to bring this deeper, heart-led work to the women, mums and educators I support every day ✨ 💗

Calm, Coffee & Connect was created for women who want practical tools to calm their nervous system and a place where they don’t have to do it alone.

3 honest truths from an EFT practitioner 👇

You don’t have to do more to deserve rest. Rest isn’t a reward you earn after pushing through.

Nervous system regulation isn’t a one-time fix. It’s something you practice over time. Regulation is something you practice gently and consistently; especially in the small, everyday moments. This is how your body learns it’s safe to slow down.

Burnout isn’t a badge of honor, it’s a signal. Chronic exhaustion, reactivity, and overwhelm aren’t signs of strength. They’re messages from your nervous system asking for support. And self-care isn’t optional; it’s a daily ritual your nervous system needs to feel less exhausted and overwhelmed.

Save this post for the days you forget that rest and selfcare are not optional.

EFT tapping works because it helps regulate your nervous system and calm the stress response stored in the body, rather than trying to “think” your way out of how you feel.

Here’s 3 reasons why EFT tapping works:

1️⃣EFT calms the stress response (fight/flight)
When you’re overwhelmed, your amygdala (the brain’s alarm system) is on high alert. Tapping on specific acupressure points sends calming signals through the nervous system, helping the body shift out of fight/flight and into safety.

2️⃣ EFT creates safety while acknowledging emotion
Unlike positive thinking, EFT doesn’t ask you to bypass or suppress how you feel. By naming the emotion while tapping, your body learns: “I can feel this… and still be safe.” This is key for releasing stored stress.

3️⃣EFT brings the body and mind into alignment
Talking alone engages the thinking brain. Tapping engages the body at the same time. This mind-body combination is why EFT often works faster than talk-based approaches alone.

That’s why EFT tapping is especially effective for overwhelm, anxiety, burnout, and emotional reactivity, particularly for mums carrying a heavy mental and emotional load.
