The Physio Movement was built on the philosophy to move away from the traditional and dated Physiotherapy model, and establish a new aged health clinic. This modern treatment approach focuses on long-term management, rather than short-term treatments and prescriptive programming. Shane Brown, TPM Director, is head mentor for all TPM professionals who work collaboratively together. Our patients are able to access our full range of services, with each practitioner understanding that there is not a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Our clinics incorporate tomorrow's technology to improve your body today. Our on-site rehabilitation space caters for all from weekend warriors, through to elite athletes. Within this space, we incorporate state-of-the-art technology which we use for Biomechanical Assessments, running technique, and lower limb angles during activity in the rehabilitation of injuries, such as ACL tears. We utilise modern apps for your phone/tablet device which help you remember your exercises, along with our Telehealth services so that you can access our healthcare movement from wherever you may be. Our clinical software allows for easy communication, reassessment and allows us to constantly readdress goals and progressions. At TPM we are very active in the local community. We pride ourselves in having a strong community presence and always willing to give a helping hand. We have collaborated with local groups, rugby league teams, charity organisations, sporting teams and many more. We are passionate about helping out our local community and providing information that otherwise may not be common knowledge. Begin your health care journey with us today!

• Strengthen your heart and improve circulation
• Lower blood pressure and blood sugar levels
• Improve cholesterol and metabolic health
• Reduce inflammation and support weight management
• Build long-term habits that protect your future health

If you’ve been told to “exercise more” but don’t know where to start ~ this is exactly what EP is for. Book an initial appointment and start taking control of your health today.

Targeted medicine for your bones.

🎥Dael (Exercise Physiologist) explains the why behind the movement 👇

For females, after menopause, bone density drops. The right strength training can slow, stop and even improve this.

Why see an Exercise Physiologist?
• Exercises designed to stimulate bone growth
• Safe loading for hips & spine
• Personalised progressions
• Education so you understand the why

Strong bones = independence for life 💪

Under pressure? Is your response "Busy!" when asked, "how are you?'

Women experience higher rates of cardiovascular disease and chronic stress.

When we feel stressed, the body releases hormones like adrenaline and cortisol. Short-term, this prepares us for action, but chronic stress keeps these hormones high.

This can lead to:
❤️‍🩹 faster heart rate and higher blood pressure
❤️‍🩹 less flexible blood vessels
❤️‍🩹 harder-to-control blood pressure spikes
❤️‍🩹 increased inflammation, contributing to plaque in arteries and risk of higher heart disease and major cardiovascular events.

Take the pressure down with our exercise physiologist, Anna. She is here to help you master stress and optimise your exercise to improve both your body and mind health.

Coach and Exercise Physiologist, Dael Wulff loves to run (well let's be honest - short distances quickly!) but she does love to help others keep running!
Here are her top 5 exercises for people who want to take optimal care of their knees. Whether you run once weekly with the local run club or run competitively, take note of these exercises and add them to your training - your knees will thank you!

🍌Foods for good Heart Health🍌

Our heart-healthy eating pattern is based on a combination of foods, chosen regularly, over time. It includes a wide variety of foods, is rich in wholegrains, fibre, vitamins, minerals and healthy fats, and naturally low in unhealthy fats, salt and added sugar. Eating this way can help improve heart health and lower your risk of developing heart disease by reducing risks like high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
