Our advanced, modern clinic in the heart of Woolgoolga offers a range of services, including Biomechanical Running & walking analysis, Osteoarthritis management classes, Pilates, Headache and Spinal Treatment, and sports-focused services designed to get you back doing the things you love. The Physio Movement was built on the philosophy to move away from the traditional and dated Physiotherapy model, and establish a new aged health clinic. This modern treatment approach focuses on long-term management, rather than short-term treatments and prescriptive programming. Shane Brown, TPM Director, is head mentor for all TPM professionals who work collaboratively together. Our patients are able to access our full range of services, with each practitioner understanding that there is not a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Our clinics incorporate tomorrow's technology to improve your body today. Our on-site rehabilitation space caters for all from weekend warriors, through to elite athletes. Within this space, we incorporate state-of-the-art technology which we use for Biomechanical Assessments, running technique, and lower limb angles during activity in the rehabilitation of injuries, such as ACL tears. We utilise modern apps for your phone/tablet device which help you remember your exercises, along with our Telehealth services so that you can access our healthcare movement from wherever you may be. Our clinical software allows for easy communication, reassessment and allows us to constantly readdress goals and progressions. At TPM we are very active in the local community. We pride ourselves in having a strong community presence and always willing to give a helping hand. We have collaborated with local groups, rugby league teams, charity organisations, sporting teams and many more. We are passionate about helping out our local community and providing information that otherwise may not be common knowledge. Begin your health care journey with us today!

This is exactly why our Persistent Pain Program exists.

If you’re feeling stuck in the cycle of pain, frustration, and exhaustion ~ you’re not alone. And there is another way forward. 💛

🎄 FAQ FRIDAY ~ CHRISTMAS EDITION 🎄

Q: What’s the best thing I can do for my body right now?
A: Focus on the basics ~ they matter more than you think.

💤 Sleep
Late nights happen, but aim for good quality rest where you can. Sleep supports recovery, mood, immunity and pain levels.

💧 Hydrate.
Busy days, travel and festive drinks can leave you dehydrated. Keep water handy and sip regularly ~ your joints, muscles and energy will thank you.

🚶 Move gently
Movement doesn’t need to be structured. Walks, swims, stretching, playing with kids, it all counts. Consistency beats intensity.

💛 Be kind to yourself
Your body isn’t a problem to fix. Stress, guilt and “all or nothing” thinking create more tension than a few days off routine ever will.

This season is about connection, rest and enjoyment ~ your health journey continues well beyond Christmas.

Save this for the days between Christmas and New Year ✨

TPM EP Tip to maintain exercise habits this festive season 🎄

You don’t need a full workout plan over the holidays, you need movement that fits your life.

Tip ~ Anchor exercise to family time.
A walk after lunch, a beach swim, a bike ride, or kicking a ball with the kids still counts. Consistency beats intensity.

Even 20–30 minutes of movement:
• keeps your joints happy
• supports energy and mood
• helps you return to routine faster in January

This season, think “move more, stress less” and enjoy being present with the people who matter most ❤️

Movement is medicine ~ even during the holidays.

🎄 Winning the festive season doesn’t mean missing out.
It’s about simple swaps that still let you enjoy the moment.

Small changes → better energy, happier gut, and less of that post-Christmas slump.

Save this for later & try one swap at a time 💛
You don’t need perfection ~ just progress.

2025...... what a year 💚

Across Woolgoolga + Yamba, our clinics have grown in ways that make us incredibly proud ~ new programs, expanded teams, and more lives changed through movement and evidence-based care.
To every person who walked through our doors this year ~ thank you for trusting us with your health.
Here’s to finishing strong and stepping into a bigger, brighter 2026.

When your life is full of hundreds of to-do’s, self-care is often the first thing to disappear.

And when that happens, everything starts to feel heavier. More overwhelming. Harder to manage.

At TPM Allied Health, we see it every day ~ when you’re running on empty, even the simplest tasks can feel impossible.

But when you take care of you, the most important variable, your body and mind are far better equipped to handle everything else, with more ease and clarity.

Last week we said see you soon to Lara 💛

Freshly graduated and off to explore the world ~ we couldn’t be prouder.

Lara has been such a beautiful, humble presence within our TPM family and she will be truly missed. Her kindness, work ethic and heart for people have left a lasting mark on our clinic and our team.

We can’t wait to watch her succeed out in the world and know this is only the beginning.

The TPM doors will always be open, see you soon, Lara ✨🌍

Community is at the heart of everything we do 💙

In 2025, TPM Woolgoolga was proud to support local businesses, sporting clubs, schools and community groups across our region.

For us, sponsorship isn’t about logos, it’s about showing up, backing our people, and helping our community stay active, connected and strong.

Thank you to every organisation, coach, volunteer and local legend doing the work behind the scenes. We’re proud to be part of your journey.

FAQ FRIDAY | What is an Exercise Physiologist (EP)?

Q ~ “Is an EP just a personal trainer?”
A ~ Short answer: No, and here’s why that matters.

An Accredited Exercise Physiologist (EP) is a university-qualified allied health professional who specialises in using exercise as medicine.

At TPM, our EPs work with people who need more than a generic workout, they need safe, structured, evidence-based movement that actually supports their health.

What does an EP help with?

~ Persistent pain
~ Injury rehab & return to activity
~ Osteoporosis & bone health
~ Women’s health & menopause support
~ Chronic conditions (arthritis, diabetes, heart health)
~ Building strength safely after injury or long breaks from exercise
~ Confidence to move again

This isn’t about pushing harder.
It’s about moving smarter.
