A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by at Bondi and registered to become a stem cell donor — your simple act of kindness could one day save the life of someone battling blood cancer.

We’re so grateful to every person who took the time to learn more, sign up, and support this important cause.

A special thank you to North Bondi SLSC and Bondi Surf Club for getting behind Gift of Life Australia and helping make our donor drive such a success. Together, we’re growing the registry and giving more patients with blood cancer hope for a second chance at life.

Applications for the Wolper Jewish Hospital Health Foundation’s first grant round of 2026 are closing this week on 13 March.

Grants of up to $25,000 are available for initiatives that create positive health and wellbeing outcomes for the benefit of the Jewish and general community.

Our new leg press machine is officially installed and ready to go at Beresford Hall. 💪🏻👏🏻

Our MoveWell MoveStrong classes are now running 3 times a week at Beresford Hall! They’re proving very popular with participants looking to improve their strength, flexibility and fitness. The classes are conducted in a circuit format using exercise machines and free weights.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO. Dame Marie devoted her life to public service and made history as the first woman to serve as Governor of New South Wales. She was a remarkable leader, advocate and role model whose impact will be felt for generations.

We were honoured to welcome Dame Marie as Guest of Honour at the opening of Wolper’s refurbished hospital in 2010 — a moment we remember with great pride and gratitude.

Our heartfelt thoughts are with her family, friends, and the many communities whose lives she touched. May her memory be a blessing.
