The raw and unedited stages of Tixel over 9 days in 6 snapshots.

“How much down time will I have? “

A question, we are asked often!
The answer is 🤷🏼‍♀️ we don’t know.
Just like we are all different, we also heal different.
But in short you can usually expect:

Day 1: hot, tight, dry, blotchy, red, sun burn sting
Day 2: red/pink, dry, marks, sun burn appearance
Day 3: dry, possible flaking, marks still visible
Day 4: the same as day 3
Day 5: beginning to improve, still dry, some visible marks
Day 6: colour of skin appearing more normal, marks fading, dryness decreasing
Day 7: majority of skin feeling a huge improvement, some small parts dry, eyelids still a little sensitive as the eyelid skin takes longer to heal (as it’s so thin)
Day8: feeling myself again. Make up application going on smoother already.
Day 9: skin feeling smoother almost back to normal.

This patient followed the correct post care protocol and had the 2 complimentary LED’s to help promote healing.
As well as using the post treatment kit (which is also included FREE in your Tixel treatment)

It’s hard to be patient during the downtime, but the results are WORTH it. 🙋‍♀️

Still loving the PDO (polydioxanone) mono and double screw threads.

These are very fine biodegradable threads which are introduced into the subcutaneous fat layer of the skin and are gradually absorbed over 3-6 month’s producing elastin and collagen giving support to the skin.

These are not lifting threads but they do thicken the skin which therefore provides support for the face, neck and décolletage.
They can also be used on the body.

She comes once a year for a little tweak because over time the product is still retained in the tissue.  Treating a client too often can result in an unattractive puffy result.
