🌟 Did you know recent NDIA updates could change the way your therapy funding is used?

If you or someone you support relies on regular therapy, these changes are worth paying attention to - they could make a real difference to how far your plan goes.

The latest adjustments include a cap on how much travel therapists can charge for travel, updates to hourly rates across several allied-health professions, and a shift to 10-minute billing increments for therapy supports. There’s also been a removal of higher state loadings in some regions, helping create more consistency for participants around Australia.

These updates might seem small, but together they can have a big impact on budgeting, choice, and the overall value you get from your NDIS plan.

👉 Curious what this means for you?
We’ve unpacked the full details so you can stay informed and confident with your funding decisions.

What a fantastic morning at our Planning for the Future event! 🌟

On Monday, we gathered at Kawana Waters Meeting Place for a morning of connection, conversation, and expert advice on preparing for the future, especially for carers and families supporting someone with disability. 💛

Our guest speakers shared invaluable insights on legal, financial, and support planning, helping attendees take those important first steps toward feeling confident and prepared for what’s ahead.

🎥 Check out the video below to hear directly from some of our incredible speakers about what they covered on the day!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along — and to our wonderful presenters, including representatives from Carers Queensland, Annelie Hovler from Forseti Law, Nicholas Doran from HKS Financial Planning, and Miia Tolvanen from People with Disability Australia for sharing their time and expertise.

If you’re still wondering where to start, don’t worry - we’ve got you! Download our free “Now I’m Preparing for the Future” guide to help you keep planning at your own pace.
