🔥 **Heatwave Update – Community Support Available** 🔥

With the current heatwave affecting our community, we encourage everyone to take extra care during these extreme temperatures.

HEATWAVE SAFETY TIPS:

* 💧 Drink plenty of water, even if you don’t feel thirsty
* 🏠 Stay indoors where possible and avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day
* 🧢 Wear light, loose-fitting clothing and use sunscreen if outside
* 👵 Check in on elderly neighbours, friends and anyone living alone
* 🐾 Don’t forget pets – provide shade and fresh water

❄️ **Cool Space Available**

Our **Bush Nursing Centre rear house is open to the community** during this heatwave and **air conditioning is available**. If you need a place to cool down or know someone who does, please come in or help spread the word.

If you have any concerns about heat-related illness or need advice, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Please note that the clinic is staffed by 1 Nurse today and no reception.
Mondays are our busiest day, therefore, if the clinic is closed the nurse will be out on home visits and will reopen once completed.
