We are very excited to announce that we have Alena from Alena Kennedy Women's Wing Chun joining Entelechy Living!
Alena has been a practicing visual artist and art facilitator since 1999 and a degree in Creative Arts from University of Wollongong. Through a spiritual exercise called Subud she realised that one can open oneself to the essence of universal consciousness or divine source of love, and that there are many ways of interpreting this experience. She discovered that while in that state of ‘surrender’ she may be inspired to create something which reveals insights into the reality of her own existence.
Besides being an artist, Alena practices Wing Chun Kung Fu. She has a black belt and is a qualified teacher through Scott Bollard Wing Chun Academy. After experiencing many wellbeing benefits through this practice, She has created ‘Alena Kennedy Women’s Wing Chun: for Wellbeing and Self-Defence’.
"I feel grateful and honoured to be a member of Entelechy Living. I will be offering classes here in both Art and Wing Chun for Women. Art classes will provide participants with skills and art-making experiences which are open ended and suitable both for non-experienced and experienced people. They will help to awaken and express our innate creative abilities, coordinating the brain and stimulating wellbeing.
Wing Chun is both for wellbeing (improved posture, strength, coordination, reflexes, mobility, resilience, self-confidence, memory, nervous-system regulation and efficient and effective use of energy) and self-defence (exercises and skills to build resilience and to protect oneself mentally and physically when faced with a confronting experience).
My phone number is 0425 316 469 and email alenasart@gmail.com .
