Charity Day for Narbeview Wildlife Shelter Incorporated is locked in for March 22.

50% of all massage and personal training bookings that day, and 100% of masterclass fees, go directly to support the shelter. These sessions run as normal, they just do more.

If you’d like to be part of it, book your massage or PT via message, or head to Picktime to secure your masterclass spot.

This year feels a bit bigger.

Tim’s honours year starts. We’re exploring some growth behind the scenes. And there’s a very confident 4-year-old who believes he’s in charge 😅

Realistically, that means more moving parts. More stretch. More early mornings and late nights. A little bit more tired and a little bit more stressed but still here for everyone.

The reason we can do that is this community. The people who show up, train hard, back us, and care about what we’re building here. That support makes the bigger goals possible.

So genuinely, thank you. ❤️

Round three of the Tim & Stacey quickfire Q&A. Featuring Jaxon. No rehearsal. No prep. No filtering. 😅

Fast questions, immediate answers, and whatever comes out first is what you get. Occasionally insightful. Often questionable.

Drop a question for next week in the comments and we’ll add it to the list.

The first bounce of the season is tonight.

Our footy tipping comp is open and still free to join. Local banter, vouchers up for grabs, and absolutely no requirement to train here. You can just come in, tip badly, and enjoy the chaos.

Bonus feature: watching Tim emotionally unravel as Melbourne attempt to ruin another year of his life.

Comment TIPPING and we’ll add you in.

“You need to get fit before you join a gym.”

No. You don’t.

That idea sticks because people don’t want to feel behind. They assume everyone else is already stronger, faster, more capable. So they think they need a few secret weeks of self-improvement before they’re allowed to show up.

It’s backwards.

Coaching exists so you don’t have to figure it out alone. Sessions are scaled from day one. Load adjusts. Volume adjusts. Intensity adjusts. You don’t “keep up.” You start where you are and build from there.

A first session isn’t a fitness test. It’s a conversation, a warm-up, and a properly coached session at a level that makes sense for you. You leave knowing what to expect next time, not wondering if you survived it.

If you’ve been waiting to feel “ready,” message us. We’ll show you how it actually works.

Sometimes we wonder what it sounds like walking past our door.

Mid-session you’ll hear:

“Open up your hips and push your knees apart.”
“Keep your chest up.”
“Sit back and go lower.”
“Push your bum back further.”
“Finish strong.”

Imagine hearing that with absolutely no context. 😅😂

We’ve had a few newer members ask about our Wednesday Challenge classes.

Are they suitable?
How fit do you need to be?
How do they actually work?

They’re structured sessions with timed rounds and clear blocks of work. You always know what you’re doing and how long you’re doing it for.

Yes, they’re challenging, that’s the point. But everything is coached and can be adjusted to your level.

You don’t need to turn up super fit. You just need to be willing to give it a go.

If you’ve been unsure about trying one, this is your nudge.

Book via Picktime and come see what it’s like.

A few quick parenting moments from inside the gym 😅

This is what training with kids actually looks like.

Chaos. Negotiations. Occasional refereeing.

But the work still gets done, sometimes with a small assistant involved.

Parent life.

Did you know we have our own S&T STEPS social group?

It’s where the banter goes.
Random chats.
Support.
Occasional chaos.
And the stuff that doesn’t always make the main page.

Just another way to stay connected with our community.

If you’re not in there yet, the link’s in the comments, jump in.

CW: This video discusses sexual assault and the treatment of women.

We listened to the Hometown Boys podcast this week.

It was hard to listen to. It hit close to home. This isn’t abstract.

It reinforced something that shouldn’t still need saying, some footy clubs protect players: Because they win games. Because they’re valuable. Because they’re “good blokes.”

Too often, that gets prioritised over women’s safety.

And this isn’t just about extreme cases.
It’s the jokes.
The minimising.
The “don’t ruin his career.”
The protecting reputations instead of people.
The silence when something feels off.
The not calling your mates out.

That’s culture.

We love sport. But we hate the parts of sporting culture that excuse behaviour because someone can perform.

And this isn’t about one town.
It’s not about one club.
It’s about a pattern that shows up across community sport.

Everyone should care about this. Right now, too many stay quiet.

Culture doesn’t change by doing the same things.
It changes when accountability matters more than winning a damn game.
When safety matters more than reputation.
When silence stops being an option.

Silence protects the wrong people.

The culture you tolerate is the culture you create.
