We wanted to highlight a small win from this week, and it belongs to Rachael.

She has two very young kids.
She barely sleeps.
She works a high-stress job that drains most people on its own.
And she still shows up. She trains hard. She puts effort in, even on the days when her tank is empty. She checks in on other people in the studio. She encourages newcomers. She gives energy she barely has.

It is easy to scroll past stories like this, but these are the people who make this place what it is.
Real humans doing their best in real circumstances, not perfect ones.

We are proud of you, Rachael.
You deserve this win.

Hi everyone! Just a quick reminder that this Sunday (Dec 7th) we’re running a full-day charity event at our fitness & massage studio in Woori Yallock, supporting Holy Fools: a local organisation helping people facing homelessness and hardship. 💛

We’ll be donating:
✨ 100% of HYROX masterclass fees
✨ 50% of all Massage & PT sessions booked that day

If you’ve been curious about HYROX, or want to support a local charity through something active or relaxing, we’d love to have you join us. Every booking makes a difference.

👉 Bookings: https://www.sntsteps.com.au/book

Thanks so much to anyone able to get involved — we really appreciate the support. 💚

One thing we care about here is helping people show up without feeling like they have to be perfect.
A lot of the fitness industry pushes this idea that you need to be on your A-game every day or you have failed.
That is not real life, and it is definitely not what we see in this studio.

Most of the time, people come in carrying real life with them.
Tired parents, people with anxiety, people dealing with stress, people who have not trained in weeks or months, people who are unsure if they even belong in a gym.
And every single one of them deserves a place to move without feeling judged.

If you train here, you are allowed to be human first and everything else second.
That is the value we care about, and the thing we try to protect the most.

Some weeks feel like we are all over it.
And some weeks feel like we are just trying to keep everything upright.

Running this place while raising a little human and managing our own brains is a lot.
We second-guess ourselves constantly.
We worry about things people never see.
Are we doing enough for the people who trust us?
Are we giving Jaxon what he needs?
Are we keeping this place moving in the right direction, or are we missing something important?
Are we even getting any of this right?

It is a loop that comes back more often than we would like to admit.

But then someone walks in and tells us they feel better.
Or they push through something they didn’t believe they could.
Or they say this studio feels like their place.
And suddenly the doubts get quieter for a moment.

If you were part of our week in any way, whether you trained, talked, laughed, vented, or showed up even when you were struggling, thank you.

You make the hard parts worth it.

A big shout out to our Challenge Winner this week: Sarah Ferguson 👑

This week’s challenge was a tough one, the kind that leaves the whole room sweaty, puffed, and smiling at the end.

Watching everyone push, support each other, and give it everything is one of our favourite parts of running this studio.

Well done to Sarah for taking the top spot. A huge effort and well deserved.

If you took part this week, tell us how it went for you.

And drop a comment to congratulate our winner.

Today was one of those days where I almost didn’t run.

A full morning of clients, feeling tired, and a long to-do list, but I went anyway and ended up just 12 seconds off a PB for 10km.

It reminded me that the biggest wins usually happen when you’re not motivated, when life feels heavy, and when no one’s watching.

If you’ve been juggling kids, work, stress, or just the mental load of being a human:
I see you. And if you did even one small thing for yourself this week, that counts.

What was your small win?

This is the mood today.

Running a studio, parenting, organising, training, cleaning, planning… and then sometimes you just need to lie down on the closest mat and breathe for a second.
Jaxon gets it.

If today’s felt like a lot, you’re not the only one.
What’s your “I need a minute” moment from today?

S&T STEPS CHALLENGE — SHOW YOUR MOVEMENT 💛

Next week we're running a simple, fun community challenge, and everyone’s welcome to join in.

👉 Each day for 7 days
👉 Share ANY movement moment (selfie, shoes, scenery, gym pic, a walk outside… anything)
👉 Tag S&T STEPS

Each day you tag us = 1 entry
Join all 7 days = 7 entries

At the end of the week, one person will win $30 credit to use on PT, classes or massage ✨

You don’t have to show your face, just show your movement. Every bit counts.

This is all about celebrating consistency, community, and the little moments that help us feel better day to day.

We start Monday 💛
Looking forward to seeing everyone’s movement next week!

HYROX Weekend is locked in, and this one means even more. 💚

On Saturday & Sunday, December 6-7, we’re running our next HYROX training weekend, and every session will finish with the same message: push hard, have fun, and train for something bigger than yourself.

Then on Sunday, December 7, it becomes Charity Sunday
just like last time, we’re donating:

✨ 100% of all HYROX Masterclass fees, and
✨ 50% of all Personal Training & Massage bookings that day

…directly to Holy Fools, a local organisation doing incredible work supporting people experiencing homelessness in our region.

Jaxon has already been “training” for the big weekend (as you can see 😄), and we’d love to have you with us as we raise money, sweat as a community, and show what this studio is truly about.

If you want to join a HYROX session or book PT/Massage for Charity Sunday, spots will fill fast, comment “INFO” and we’ll send you the details.

Let’s make this our biggest one yet. 💛✨

Try this simple 90/90 position that Stacey uses to help people gently calm their lower back and hips.

How to do it

Lie on your back on the floor.

Place your lower legs up on a bench, chair or couch so your hips and knees are both at 90 degrees.

Let your arms relax out to the sides with your palms up.

Gently tuck your tailbone so your lower back feels supported, not arched.

Close your eyes and take 5 to 10 slow breaths into your belly.

Stay here for 1 to 3 minutes, or as long as it feels comfortable.

This position can help take pressure off your lower back, calm everything down and give your body a chance to reset after a long day.

If you try it tonight, let us know how it feels in the comments. 💚

Some Mondays hit harder than others.

Anxiety, depression, life pressure… it can all stack up until even starting feels impossible.

On days like that, I don’t try to be unstoppable — I try to be honest.
One small action, one small choice, one moment of grounding.

If your Monday feels heavy too, just know you’re not behind; you’re human, and you're doing your best.
