You may be wondering - what is Reiki? You may have heard of it but don’t really know what it involves or what benefits it can have. In basic terms it is an energy healing practice where the Reiki practitioner (me) places their hands on or above your (fully clothed) body, connecting to your energy to help your body balance itself from a very deep level. Sessions may involve guided meditation, crystals and colour therapy, and I also offer card reading and guidance as part of my sessions. In my experience Reiki can facilitate deep and profound life changes, and help anything from pain, anxiety and stress, to releasing emotions and helping find your purpose in life. I could talk and talk about Reiki but it is only the experience of something that will reveal the true meaning for you. Life works in mysterious ways, and I have found that it often brings you exactly what you need at exactly the right time. This was my last day in Egypt (for now!)

And if you saw my first day group day, I was supposed to go in the great pyramid and I couldn't do it.

It was all divinely perfect though of course. Instead of 11/11 in the Pyramid, it was 22/11 at 1010

And despite how busy it usually is I visioned it being easy and fun and spacious - and it was! Strolled on in through the whole first passage with no one there, huge contrast to coming back out going past big line of people squashed together!

Entered to find the Kings Chamber empty! And the guard very happy to allow meditation.

Received lots of downloads, confirmations and I don't even fully know yet what else but it felt big!

I'm so lit up to return here next year. These places are very very special, they hold so much for those that seek from the heart. This truly felt like a returning, a remembering, and the first of many many journeys here ❤️

I go in with no expectations. Some hope, yes, but knowing truly whatever is meant to happen will, whatever I'm meant to experience is exactly as it needs to be.

She told me to roar. She told me to stand strong in my power. There was a lot of healing in the transmission that channeled through me, and a powerful balancing of the masculine and feminine energies.

So far Egypt is gifting me so much ❤️ very grateful.

11.11 Private time with the Sphinx

I didn't really feel like meditating I couldn't keep my eyes closed! I just kept being drawn around the side, I was just gazing up at it, feeling so happy 🤗
I love to touch and this area is closed to anyone unless you privately book it (which is not cheap!) So I just felt like a little kid allowed to touch and explore and play!

Had all these drop ins about water this morning before this day started, and my intention for 11.11 flowing on from that and a drop in the day before was to hold the vision of the purification of earth's waters. Felt it fits with the whales being such a guiding force for me being here.

We danced and sang a rain song from Africa that our guide Malaika led us through, calling the rains back to these lands, calling the waters back where they once flowed.

My eyes always magnetised to Sekhmet statues (can you spot her in the gold ones?)

Tutankhamen's tomb collection was pretty incredible. The amount of things he was entombed with and the preservation of them is amazing. The big boxes went one inside the other and are all gold and inscribed completely inside and out with gods, goddesses, hieroglyphics, passages from book of the dead.

You could easily spend hours here just reading, looking, feeling. Pretty epic.

Spoiler alert: I came back up 😆
The guy manning it even turned the lights on for me to try and encourage me to keep going - there are lights all the way down but they have them off saying they are not working so everyone uses a torch or their phone instead.

Mostly I didn't do it because I hadn't eaten since 8am and it was the afternoon. Just didn't think I had the energy to go down this tunnel and back up again.
Next time! 😁

Plus I will be going into the other pyramids so still opportunities to get inside 😁
