🌟 Staff Spotlight: Anje 🌟

Anje has been part of the Your Way Care Providers team since October 2024 and has quickly become such a valued support worker. She is incredibly kind, extremely patient, and has a natural way of connecting with our clients. Anje consistently encourages the people she supports to express themselves and build confidence in their communication.

She’s also nearly finished her Bachelor of Social Work and brings 2 years of experience in the industry, which really shows in the calm, respectful way she approaches her work.

We’re really lucky to have Anje as part of the Your Way Care Providers family 💙

DJ has been working in the disability support industry for over 4 years, bringing with him a calm & reliable approach to every shift. He builds genuine connections, being patient and respectful, and always putting the wellbeing of participants first.

🌿 Coming Soon – Our Living Your Way Program Has a New Home! 🌿

We’re excited to announce that our Living Your Way Program is getting ready to launch from its brand-new homebase — a beautiful, nature-filled property in Burbank. 🌳✨

Our team is busy behind the scenes preparing the space so participants can enjoy creative, hands-on, person-centred activities that build confidence, develop life skills, and foster community connection — all at your pace, in your way. 💛

Here’s what a week with us will look like:
✅ Monday – Agriculture Care: Gardening, growing, and connecting with nature
✅ Tuesday – Self Care: Mindfulness, movement, and healthy routines
✅ Wednesday – Pot 2 Plate + Picnic: Harvest, cook, and share a meal together
✅ Thursday – Arts & Crafts in the Garden: Create, paint, and express in a relaxed setting
✅ Friday – Fri-YAY: Explore local spots, enjoy social outings, and celebrate the week with fun and friendship

🌿 From My Family to Yours 🌿

We thought it was about time we re-introduced ourselves. I’m Kath, Director of Your Way Care Providers, and this is my husband Syd. We work side-by-side in our small, family-run NDIS service, supporting our clients and their families with the kind of care we’d want for our own loved ones.

I’ve been working in the disability sector for many years, in a variety of roles – from hands-on support work to management. Over that time, I’ve met incredible people, listened to their stories, and seen first-hand how the right support can change lives. What I also saw was how often people were treated like just another number… and I knew I wanted to do things differently.

That’s why I started Your Way Care Providers – to offer truly personalised, support where relationships come first. Our mission is simple – to build connections that feel like family, truly hear each person’s story, and shape our care around their dreams and aspirations.

Syd and I share the same values – kindness, respect, and integrity – and we bring them to every part of our work. Whether it’s helping with daily living, building independence, or getting out and about in the community, we’re passionate about making a real difference every day.
