Care by Phoenix is a vibrant and fast expanding NDIS Provider who are dedicated to supporting our clients to strive towards their goals and live the very best day, every day.

Due to expansion, we are seeking more support workers to join our amazing team.

Skills & Experience
• Prior experience highly desirable
• Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
• Must have a QLD driver's licence and own reliable transport
• Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain)
• Current Paid employee NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
• NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain)
• COVID 19 Infection Control certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Smart phone with internet access

We are looking for Disability Support Workers to assist adults who have intellectual and cognitive impairment. Successful applicants will need to support clients in:

• Life skills (cooking, budgeting hygiene, social skills)
• Creative pursuits (fine arts, performing arts, hobbies, DIY)
• Educational activities (numeracy, literacy, cultural studies)
• Fitness programs (sport, dance, active games)

You will possess kindness, patience, vitality, and initiative.
Workers must also be prepared to assist with personal care as required.

Employees should also be willing and able to:
• Work without direct supervision
• Help with transport (driver’s licence required)
• Provide community access
• Implement programs and personal plans
• Problem solve
• Be a positive role model.

Coffee By Josh
We were lucky enough to swing by this AMAZING little coffee stop. Nestled on a farm in Haigslea, just off the Warrego Highway (not that you would know). Gorgeous farm views on all sides.

Josh is a great example of someone who has a dream and chases it down.
He started making coffee while in grade 11, he figured out that coffee makes people happy (um yes 🙌🏼)

Josh has an intellectual disability and receives funding from the NDIS for support workers that help him to run the shop five mornings a week and take the truck to local community events.
He is aiming for 16000 FaceBook followers. Let’s sharing his page far and wide.

Our car enthusiast, Richie, has been counting down to the winter nationals since last year!
Our wonderful support worker, Tracy, assisted Richie in attending this event and having a blast.

A nice start to the day for Woody and his support worker, Ali.
Rugged up and enjoying the winter air and sunshine they headed to Lake Dyer, near Laidley.

Woody showed his knowledge and skill in tying fishing knots and casting out... this didnt help Ali catch anything other than lake weeds, and a sinker. Not surprising cconsidering the Lake had almost dried up this time last year.

Woody has a passion for fishing and enjoys mentoring those around him by sharing skills, knowledge and life experiences. He is a wealth of knowledge and our support workers and fellow participants enjoy learning from him.

Hope you enjoyed your day Woody. Ali sure did.

This can include assistance with day to day activities, transport, help in your workplace, theraputic supports, household tasks home modifications, mobility equipment and vehicle modifications.

***We provide Plan Management***
As Plan Managers we manage paperwork, process claims and pay your service providers.

***We Provide Support Coordination***
As Support Coordinators we help participants coordinate and implement supports in their plan, and to participate fully in the community.

We deliver these services to NDIS participants in various locations across Brisbane, Bay Islands, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Hervey Bay and Lockyer Valley.
