Residents from Vietnam Veterans had a wonderful day with children from Budgewoi Public School, who brought beautiful Christmas carols to share. Residents enjoyed the songs and the warm interaction with the students. Residents from Vietnam Veterans have been participating in our new HELP Project. This project includes a variety of roles such as welcoming new residents, assisting with activities, supporting dining room setup, gardening, laundry, and other tasks that residents can choose based on their interests.

The HELP Project is all about creating meaningful roles and opportunities for residents who wish to stay active, social and involved in the community. It allows residents to contribute their skills, interests and time in ways that bring purpose, connection and joy to everyday life.

Killarney Court residents enjoyed celebrating St Andrew's Day playing shot put - a popular game in Scotland - and finishing the afternoon with a Scottish sweets-tasting afternoon tea.

Yesterday, our Panama Day mulitcultural lunch at Vietnam Veterans gave many residents the opportunity to explore the country's culture, cuisine and entertainment.

Everyone had a wonderful time celebrating together and enjoying the concert by Ali Payne Entertainment! This activity encouraged socialisation, cultural learning and plenty of music and dancing, creating a joyful and memorable experience for everyone.

For International Men's Day last week, our male residents from Killarney Court enjoyed a men's morning mingle and were treated to a men's only BBQ lunch.

The men enjoyed chatting, listening to country and Western music as per their request and telling jokes.

Our Story

Vietnam Veterans Keith Payne VC Hostel has been delivering the highest level of personalised, 24-hour aged care to its residents since 1991.

While our heritage is built upon caring for those who served so bravely, we are a community that also welcomes non-veterans to make their home with us.

Located only 5-minutes from the ocean in Noraville on the northern end of the NSW Central Coast, surrounded by lush bush surrounds and spacious grounds, the facility provides the most peaceful setting for residents to share their stories with neighbours, family and loved ones.

We’re a fully accredited, not-for-profit aged care community that caters for up to 76 residents on either a full-time or temporary respite care basis.
