Here's what we've been up to recently at Alino Living!

At Lake Haven Court, residents welcomed the change of season by painting and decorating the facility’s seasonal tree for autumn. The tree is refreshed each season and has become a much-loved tradition. 🍂

At Vietnam Veterans, residents Maureen and Joan continued their support of the HELP Project by decorating tables following the recent Chinese celebrations, bringing colour and cheer to the home. 🌸

At Killarney Court, residents gathered for a Love & Laughter Friendship Party. Dressed in pink, the afternoon was filled with smiles, refreshing drinks and plenty of happy moments shared together. 💕

At Rumbalara House, residents have been enjoying weekly Tai Chi sessions focused on mindfulness and wellbeing. With gentle movement, calming music and a relaxing atmosphere, the sessions offer a chance to slow down and recharge. 🧘

A look at life at Alino Living!

At Killarney Court, residents welcomed back their Bright Start Preschool buddies for another visit. Together they teamed up for a lively game of Washing Basket Ball, filling the room with cheering, laughter and growing friendships. 💛

At Vietnam Veterans, residents got creative making hats to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. It was a fun session full of colour, creativity and plenty of laughs. 🍀

At Rumbalara House, residents enjoyed a lively afternoon of entertainment with Ali Payne. A surprise staff flash mob, plenty of singing and even a memorable Elvis performance from one of our residents had the whole room clapping along. 🎤

At Lake Haven Court, residents had an absolute ball trying belly dancing with Mel. There were plenty of smiles as many residents joined in and gave it a go. 💃

A look at life at Alino Living recently!

Lake Haven Court residents enjoyed a Chinese New Year lunch featuring spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian beef and more, complete with fortune cookies! 🥠

At Killarney Court, residents welcomed back Beats Movement & Music with Jo for the second session of the year. The room was filled with movement, familiar songs and plenty of smiles as everyone enjoyed being active together. 🥁

Vietnam Veterans residents explored the world through virtual reality. From concerts and cruises to snorkelling and train trips, they experienced bucket list moments without leaving their chairs. 🛤

At Rumbalara House, our puppy in training Coco proudly "qualified" in assisting with hand spa sessions. His calm presence added an extra layer of relaxation and brought plenty of smiles. 🐕

Residents from Vietnam Veterans enjoyed a wonderful and cheerful bus trip to Toukley Marine Rescue. It was a day full of smiles and good company!

They admired the beautiful scenery along the way — tall trees, peaceful lakes, and lovely birds — while sharing laughs and stories over a delicious morning tea.

This outing created a special connection with nature, brought back happy memories, and gave everyone a fantastic opportunity to socialise and enjoy time together. A truly joyful day for all.

Last week, residents at Killarney Court enjoyed a wonderful double celebration as they celebrated both Chinese New Year and Pancake Tuesday! 🥞🎉

The morning kicked off with our fun and competitive Chopstick Challenge, where residents had a set time limit to move their cheesels from one bowl to another using chopsticks. There was lots of laughter and concentration in the room! A big congratulations to Michael, who was crowned our Chopstick Champion! 🏆🥢

In the afternoon, everyone enjoyed freshly cooked, delicious pancakes for afternoon tea — the perfect sweet treat to top off a fantastic day of celebrations.

What a lovely way to bring everyone together for food, fun and friendship! 💛

Residents at Vietnam Veterans enjoyed a wonderful Chinese New Year celebration filled with colour, music, and delicious food. They were treated to a variety of traditional Chinese dishes including fried rice, spring rolls, dim sum, Mongolian lamb, prawns, and of course, lucky fortune cookies.

The celebration also featured a beautiful live concert with Ali, along with a selection of refreshing drinks for everyone to enjoy. The atmosphere was joyful and vibrant, bringing smiles and laughter to all.

This activity provided great entertainment, cultural learning, and a fantastic opportunity for residents to socialise and connect with one another. It was truly a memorable and festive day for everyone involved.

Our monthly birthday celebration at Vietnam Veterans was a fantastic and joyful day for our residents celebrating their February birthdays!

The room was full of smiles and laughter as everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch, a lively and entertaining concert with Jenny and Annette , and a beautiful birthday cake. It was a cheerful and memorable occasion, bringing everyone together for fun, music, and wonderful socialising moments.

Standing Room Only for Our Twice-Weekly Exercises at Rumbalara House !

It’s always a full house for our Tuesday and Thursday exercise sessions — and it’s easy to see why! Not only is it a fantastic way to stay active, social, and feeling terrific, but it’s also guaranteed to bring plenty of laughs along the way.

Our Residents meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 11am in the Activities Room , and they wouldn’t miss it for the world. From ball games to noodle exercises and a good joke or two there’s something for everyone.

As we like to say: “Use it or lose it!”
If you haven’t tried this fun, soft-paced exercise routine, now’s the perfect time. Even if you don’t break a sweat, a good belly laugh is always part of the workout!

Our Story

Vietnam Veterans Keith Payne VC Hostel has been delivering the highest level of personalised, 24-hour aged care to its residents since 1991.

While our heritage is built upon caring for those who served so bravely, we are a community that also welcomes non-veterans to make their home with us.

Located only 5-minutes from the ocean in Noraville on the northern end of the NSW Central Coast, surrounded by lush bush surrounds and spacious grounds, the facility provides the most peaceful setting for residents to share their stories with neighbours, family and loved ones.

We’re a fully accredited, not-for-profit aged care community that caters for up to 76 residents on either a full-time or temporary respite care basis.
